"Visiting the UK to meet with family and also to tour London and the countryside. During my stay at Wickford, was looking out for a nice little place to enjoy a typical English breakfast. People around recommended Wickford Cafe and I wasn't disappointed at all! Got my all time favourite bread with fried eggs and a warm cup of tea to gulp it down with. Not just the food but the behaviour of the owner and the staff was nice and warm. Will come back surely next time and highly recommended to all visitors who fancy an English breakfast countryside style!"

Disgusting meal, didn't even ask for doggie bag to take meat home for our dog. Cold plates, poor service. Not particularly cheap. Will not be going back

Dated, old school, plain, and absolutely perfect. This place is a throwback to the top notch 90s cafeterias that were so prolific back then. Absolutely superb quality food, friendly and personable staff, and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
