The steak was cooked perfectly and the chicken panini was delicious. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely come back again.

We were a large group and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The service was great and the food was beautiful. The portions were generous and everyone cleared their plates!

I ordered a large and medium roast beef Sunday lunch. It was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and we had a great time chatting with them. I felt very comfortable during my visit.

We took a group of thirty from our Friendship group, to The Windmill in Southport today, and it was worthwhile braving the rain for. Food was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond for us. To quote Arnie, "We 'll be back.

I was warmly welcomed once again at this restaurant and I love this place. The bartender was lovely and friendly. If I wasn't dining alone, I would have eaten here again as I really enjoyed the meal last time. It's wonderful to have the option to sit outside or inside.

Visited as a family with one wheelchair user and a small dog. Booked a table for 6pm which was reserved for us. The owner went out of his way to ensure we had space for our wheelchair and gave us the disabled toilet key. Food was excellent and really good value. Very reasonable drinks prices. Entertainment most nights. Will definitely return next time we visit Southport.

We headed in for some lunch to get out of the cold. I had a fantastic spaghetti bolognese. It was good to hear the meat came from the local butchers, it was clear from the taste it was quality. The coffee was excellent, rich and aromatic, perfect for a delightful pick-me-up in the colder weather. It was good to see they have been working on the disabled toilet, they've done a great job. Look forward to returning soon.

Called in for Sunday lunch before leaving for the railway station during our weekend trip to Southport. The Windmill is a traditional , friendly and spacious pub with a warm and attentive manager. Ordered the large Sunday lunches and they were superb. Fresh, plentiful and well cooked with brilliant service. It seems the pub cater for festive events, including Carol singing, wreath making and brass band which seems innovative and family friendly for the Christmas run up. Great prices and comfortable inside. Would recommend to all.
