"Have been eating here for years and this restaurant never fails so serve up great Greek food. The meze is great, especially for a larger group. Portions were great sizes and each dish seemed to be better than the last. The Cypriot beer was ice cold and the wine was top drawer. Andy and Andi the owners have done an amazing job to keep this place as welcoming as possible given the current Covid situation and even in a small, cosy restaurant you feel like youre away from other diners. Will be back very soon!"

The atmosphere is cosy incredibly friendly, without being too much. The food is fantastic. Particularly the lamb souvlaki the moussaka

This place is such a gem! Food was delicious, kleftiko fell off the bone and houmous was fab. Lovely family run place, very attentive and warm staff.

The welcome on arrival was warm and inviting, and took us on the beginning of a journey that just hit even better. The food was delicious, the staff outstanding and the location perfect! We will definitely return.

Came for a dinner after having walked past so many times and always said we wanted go in, finally did and we wished we’d come sooner! Really good food, really friendly staff, and would definitely recommend the mezze ! Will definitely be returning

At a time when service is at an all time low, it was a welcome surprise to experience Wine Moussaka. I have overlooked this place for the 12 years I have lived nearby, but will certainly be back! Charming service, lovely and authentic food at a very reasonable price.

Nice welcome and friendly boss. Food very disappointing. It was all dry and lacking any flavour. As it was produced in short time it was evident that the meat and rice were pre cooked or heated. Not what we expected from a Greek restaurant and not good value for a £17 dish

My family has been visiting this restaurant for years and everytime we visit we are blown away by the quality of the food. The care the owners take over the prep of the food (many of the meats have marinated for hours) certainly light up your tastebuds when the plates arrive. Its a cosy restaurant with lots of choice for all but we would highly recommend the meze as it creates a real atmosphere which brings all your party together over fabulous food! A must visit restaurant!

The food is delicious and the portions generous. We had the mezze which was excellent. The staff are friendly. Hadn't been here for more than forty years. It was good then and still is. I am disabled now , when I phoned before visiting. The lady who answered the phone told me there was no disabled toilet and it was one step up to get into the loo. She explained the building was very old and it was not possible to fit a disabled toilet. I still decided to visit and I am very glad that I did.

We used to go to this restaurant 30 years ago when we were young with not much money as a cheaper place to eat great food in a friendly place. We just returned this month for the first time since then with our daughter and found the place to be exactly as we remember. The owners were so friendly and welcoming to us, the atmosphere friendly and the food excellent. The only downside is that it is not as cheap anymore...but nowhere is. Nevertheless we would highly recommend W&M for a great night.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
