"During our visit to the gardens, we decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant. The menu had a variety of hot meals that all seemed homemade and delicious. The chicken one pot was filled with fresh vegetables, the baked potato was soft and fluffy, and the egg mayo rolls were a generous portion. The ordering process was a bit confusing as the tills were in a cramped area causing customers to mingle instead of forming a proper queue. However, the service was quick and efficient, and we were overall impressed with our experience."

A super eatery with freshly cooked food. Loved the macoroni cheese. Well worth a visit when exploring the beautiful Hidcote Gardens.

We enjoyed the special lunches-quiche x2 and steak pie x2 efficient service and very tasty- went back for fresh scones and cup of tea later.

Fab few hours here. Booked free hire mobility scooter for mum. Staff very helpful. Beautiful gardens. Entry price not cheap but we are National Trust members. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning gardens. £17 for an adult if you're not a member. Bring a picnic, beautiful space to sit a enjoy your surroundings. If you have a baby, it's best to just bring a sling, it's not too bad with a pram but there are tight squeezes and steps. Shops, cafe, garden centre and second hand book store available. Definitely recommended. Ver carta

if they make their home and garden in art and craft style, then this is the place for them! great introduction to the place by guide, good facilities, including cafe toilets and garden shop. loved the garden spaces and the individual character of the places, becomes wilder as they move further out of the house. great to see. good a look

Glorious gardens that are full of delight at every turn. History and botanical riches abound in these spacious and meandering walkways. A charming gift shop, available toilets and numerous places to rest and enjoy your day are provided. Be sure to bring your camera. Parking is adequate but the pathways may be too much for the mobility challenged.

This is a most delightful garden. It contains a wide variety of plants so can be visited throughout the seasons. June is a particularly good time to visit since there are to be found many colourful and interesting plants. There is also delightful woodland areas to walk through. There is a good café there that offer a good selection of light meals and snacks I spent over three hours there and enjoyed every minute. Will certainly make a return visit. Ver carta

No reviews since 2019? Hmmm.... After a morning strolling around the truly lovely gardens here, Winthrop's is a great place to grab a drink and something to eat. Although the menu is limited, it all seems to be homemade and is very reasonably priced. The cafe is a nice place to sit and enjoy your meal, and there's an attractive terrace for warmer days. At peak times, the queues can be quite long and service seems a little slow, and when we visited a touch chaotic, but these are minor quibbles.

extremely helpful and friendly staff. we had so much luck when the weather was perfect and the gardeners said it was quite the best time to see the gardens. it was quite spectacular, and we ran around in some rusty roses and photographed plants. they can notify them and they will help them identify the spezies. the dame in the plant business helped us .and we also brought ice creams there. good that we later go back in the week. good toilets, caffe busy, so recommend a previous visit if you want to eat. highly recommended
