Woodford Lodge - Carta

24 of us went for a birthday celebration, the staff were amazing, the food was brilliant and they made it a breakfast to remember, thank you so much everyone , definitely recommend, every time I go to Woodford it has been a pleasurable experience.

Myself and my partner came for a wonderful two course lunch on New Year's Eve, the roast beef was some of the best we have had. The location is absolutely beautiful. The service from Lucy was amazing she was so lovely and friendly. We will definitely return.

As always great service and superb food. My wife had the sausage and mushroom roll with chips which was superb. Really deep flavour And I had the crab again, it’s just so good and a proper meal. We shared the lemon posset which again was just perfect. Love the Woodford and the location.

Had a beautiful breakfast with 3 friends on a Friday morning. The full English breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. One friend had the veggie breakfast the another had the fruit pancakes. Both looked amazing. It did get busy and obviously it’s very popular. Quick attentive service from the staff in a lovely setting. It was such a nice sunny morning with a great view of the lake. Excellent first visit.

beautiful breakfast this morning a full English and a sausage and bacon ciabatta. the food was delicious and the staff was happy to change the menu easily to take up my daughter. beautiful prospects that we only wish the weather was better! we will definitely be back in the early year and will need to taste the lunch menu. the restaurant was immaculately clean and a beautiful additional touch was the hands antary on every table. Visited for lunch today, very good food and service with great view over Chew Valley Lake. We shared a bruschetta starter, good portion size loaded with tomatoes and pesto. My wife had smoked salmon and prawn salad for main course, generous amount of fish and salad. I chose the lentil burger (without the detestable brioche bun) the burger is made on site and is the best veggie burger I have ever had, served with sliced avocado chilli mayonnaise, slaw and chunky chips. I also had dessert, the whisky soaked raspberries with cream granola and raspberry sorbet was delicious.

As my sister and I arrived got greeted by middle age stressed looking man with glasses. He asked if we have reservations, my sister said no we don’t. She asked if we could go in but he said: NO you can’t go in! Without any explanation he just disappeared inside the restaurant. We both left. I am a disabled person who uses crutches and I have never been anywhere where a staff a so indifferent and callus!! This is simply how this afternoon your staff breached a Disability Act on all counts! I will make sure that all my family, friends, associates and anyone I know knows how your staff treated a disabled person on your premises!

Oh My God! I have just heard about 'The Woodford Words ', a pathetic attempt at some kind of customer centric mantra I assume? A warm welcome every time Nothing is too much trouble . When people visit, they get what they want without any fuss The list of stomach churning tosh goes on.....but just look at the poor reviews. Went here the other day for coffees and was told we couldn 't sit by the lake unless we were eating. We could only sit up by 'the shed ' if we only wanted drinks! Went here again today after the 4 mile walk that starts at Woodford Lodge and asked for coffees. This time a girl told us to come back later as they wanted to clear the food orders first?!
