Woodlands - Carta

Had an amazing time at the woodlands restaurant the food was exceptional and serves in a timely manner. The staff are excellent and the young gentleman than served us could not of been more accommodating and polite. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Had a fabulous meal here to celebrate a special event for 20. The food was amazing. The staff attentive and helpful. Nothing was a problem. Food was well presented and so enjoyable. Everyone was very happy with their choices. A big thank you to Hannah James Cath and Annika.

Another wonderful meal combined with impeccable service from Paul and Naomi. Lovely touch from the team with an anniversary message on a wooden platter. The food was divine and mouth watering. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff was polite and went above and beyond - they even overheard that it was my birthday and surprised me with a complimentary dessert that said 'Happy Birthday'. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning in the future.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, food was a 6 out of 10. I think the menu could use some updates to make it more interesting. My husband found the steak to be too tough, but my family and I enjoyed our meals. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be returning. I just wish there were more exciting options on the menu.

Restaurant was very clean and considering we were there in the heat of September the room was really cool. The choice of meals was excellent and all cooked very well and hot. The staff went out of there way to make you feel at ease and where very friendly. The evening was finished with a drink sat out on the patio, peace and quiet with just the evening bird song. Lunch treat. Wonderful location good choice on menu starters mains and sweets. Service very good. It's good to go to a restaurant that feels like a fully blown restaurant and not a pub or pub grub. Waited on staff very helpful food very good quality. Would we go back? definitely within yge next month. Very well laid out and great views over the Golf course anx Cannock Chase. All at a reasonable price.

We went to this restaurant with friends for a Christmas meal, but we were disappointed by the festive menu. There was no Christmas pudding and the dessert options were limited. Another group at the restaurant had crackers, but we were not offered any. We were told that there was a pre-ordered menu, which was not communicated to us in advance. My husband is a member of the golf club and the email we received only had one menu option, with no opportunity to pre-select our dishes. There was also no mention of this on the website. However, the quality of the food was good. The restaurant will need to make improvements before we consider returning next year.

Booked for Sunday lunch just the 2 of us to celebrate my husband’s birthday, we both had the 3 courses for £29.95 each. All of the courses were beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant is nicely decorated and tables are well spaced with views of the golf course. The drinks are reasonably priced for a restaurant. Service was very helpful and friendly. My husband had the mozzarella tomato bruschetta starter, roast turkey main, he particularly enjoyed the cranberry stuffing and crème brûlée dessert. I had melon starter, roast beef main which was really nice but, the beef was a little too rare for me and lemon tart dessert was absolutely delicious. This was our first visit but we will... Ver carta
