"After a long day exploring rockpools on Rhosilli beach then walking across the causeway and climbing worms head, this pub was perfectly positioned for a much needed rest and rehydrate. We stopped for dinner with our 7 year old daughter and she had kids chicken nuggets (of course) with chips and beans. The portion size was excellent and she finished the lot! My partner had Gluten free Fish and chips with mushy peas.... The fish was huge and the batter was fantastic even for GF. I had the whole hog burger which was another level of deliciousness! Pork burger, black pudding, bacon, mustard..... Heaven! Plenty of outdoor seating (picnic style benches but the comfier kind) and DOGS ARE WELCOME OUTSIDE.... ignore the review recently saying they aren't. P.s check the specials board near the bar before ordering as theres more then on the normal menu."

Customer service was lacking the food was very expensive and the portions very sparse. We were wondering why no one was eating at such a stunning/special location! I would not recommend.

Extremely overpriced for extremely poor quality food. Welsh rarebit was nothing more than dry bread with grated cheese. The other 5 with me also had very bad food. Shame as the place is in a stunning location

The staff at this restaurant were not welcoming at all. When we visited for the second time, the selection of bar food was limited because it seemed like the chef had the day off on a Monday. The food that was available was very average and seemed like it was store-bought.

We were looking for a nice lunch but unfortunately did not find it. After waiting to be seated by the sign which indicated to do so and being ignored several times we were told to “just sit down”. We left shortly after sitting due to the rude manner of andrew who was the member of staff that ‘welcomed’ us. Would not recommend.

We stayed at The Worm's Head Hotel to celebrate my birthday. After a long walk, we received a warm welcome. Dinner in the bar area was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Our room was comfortable with an amazing view, and the breakfast and service the next morning were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Works Head Hotel provides all you need for this stunning location. Staff are very friendly lead by Adrian. The food is of a good standard and there is quite a variety of choice. Can recommend the fish and chips. If you want amazing views of both Rhossil bay and the worms head, room 3 is perfect. We will definitely return in the future.

We were unable to review the food as they wouldn't allow us to enter with our dog. It was a cold, windy day in January, during lunchtime on a weekday. The bar had an unpolished wooden and tiled floor, and the spacious bar/restaurant area, which offered great views, was mostly empty. We were puzzled as to why they insisted we eat outside, so we decided to dine elsewhere.

Being on my own, it was hard to reserve a table for me, which needed to be done before an order was placed, but in the end some people let me share theirs. I queued for 20 mins to place an order, to then find that the food would take 45 mins to an hour so I walked out. Yes, I understand this was the first sunny day for ages, but I can’t be the only solo diner who wouldn’t be able to reserve a table first.

AWFUL customer service! The woman who served us made us feel like we were a huge inconvenience just by ordering some food! I went to change a filling in a roll shortly after ordering (misheard what my sister in law wanted! And the member of staff rolled her eyes at me, and exhaled loudly. Made a mountain out of a molehill. Food average. Views beautiful, but because of the customer service we definitely won't be back. Would not recommend.

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
