Tasty, imaginative food. The sauce with the venison dish was amazing. I had to order a foccaccia (possibly the best I've tasted, certainly in the uk). The Cailiflower dish was also fantastic, according to my vegetarian wife. The staff were friendly and attentive. Fabulous Xmas Eve Lunch in one of our favourite Liverpool restaurants. Good wine list beautifully cooked presented food. Friendly service from knowledgeable staff. It never disappoints Vegetarian options: There is not a wide choice of vegetarian options but what there is are imaginative beautifully presented. Definitely no vegetable lasagne! We had a post-Christmas lunch at this restaurant. Despite the building being covered in scaffolding and plastic sheets on the outside, the interior was cozy and welcoming. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and has an open kitchen with about a dozen tables. The service was excellent, quick, and friendly. The food was fantastic. I enjoyed a Mexican chicken starter, a flat top steak cooked to perfection, and honeycomb vanilla ice cream for dessert. With a beer, coffee, and service charge, the total came to about £50, which I thought was reasonable considering the quality of the meal. I left feeling satisfied and would definitely return.
