"Came here as a party of two. Y Pantri has cleaned up it's decor a lot since my last visit a few years ago, everything appears clean and fresh and the hygiene rating on the door states 5/5 so all good. This is a basic cafe so don't expect too much although i found the service from the young lady to be genuine friendly and she did go out of her way to assist our party. I ordered a coffee which i found to be nice enough. The cheeseburger i ordered however was ok as a snack but if you were expecting this to fill you up you will be disappointed. Said burger was wafer thin and pretty tasteless with what appeared to be a cheap processed processed cheese slice on top of the burger. Sanitiser was available (and freely available) as soon as we entered the cafe which i found was a plus point. Customers were a friendly bunch too. No parking available here but there is a car park a short walk away. Would i come here again, yes but probably just for a coffee."

Been here a few times now and have each time been well fed from their varied menu. Very pleasant staff and homely atmosphere. Recommended.

The breakfast was great with friendly staff. I would have liked a sausage from the butcher, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. I hope you will consider this suggestion. Ver carta

Always nice to eat here whenever we visit Denbigh. Good choice on menu also a specials board for that day. Meals, snacks and takeaway. Bilingual staff. Have never come away disappointed.

The breakfast at this restaurant is fabulous and the staff are great. The convenient location just across the road will definitely have me coming back more often. Well done to the team for all their hard work paying off.

Recently re opened under new management and still friendly and great value for money. Best news though is that it is now dog friendly and with free WiFi On the square and well situated, a great addition to the high street Ver carta

Enjoyable visit for a late lunch. Friendly welcome, nice choice of food on the menu for the whole family (two adults, a 15 and 11 year old). Food and drinks reasonably priced and served quickly. Three toasties, a sandwich and drinks. Kids enjoyed the milkshakes! Recommend a visit.

My friends and I went to this cafe today for a delightful breakfast, the staff was incredibly attentive and kind! We felt very welcomed and even our dog was treated to a sausage and fresh water. If you find yourself in Denbigh, I highly recommend supporting this charming local cafe. The prices were very reasonable as well. Thank you for your amazing hospitality, we will definitely be returning!

"Went for afternoon tea with my wife, using an 'experience ' voucher from a well known site, costing £35.99 absolute disaster! The description said 'sit down in the sophisticated dining room and tuck into a section of finger sandwiches, tantalising cakes, pastries, macarons and scones with clotted cream and jam. You won 't want this afternoon to end! ' Trust me, we could not get out of their quick enough and go and find somewhere to get something to eat. The sophisticated dining room was a large, cold room with only a couple of other diners, sticky wooden tables, with no table cloths, just a flimsy paper napkin and a knife and fork. We ordered a coffee and a tea, which came in the smallest teapot, I have ever seen. Later in the meal, when we asked for another drink, we were told that was extra and were charged another £5.70. The food was nothing like as described or pictured on the website. A sad looking selection of sandwiches four quarters each of thin sliced bread one containing a very small piece of processed ham, a second mashed up egg, third was some sort of fish, not sure if it was salmon or tuna; and finally some sort of green leaf with something wet on top it looked like the sandwich had been made days earlier and then sat upon! No pastries or macarons but the two scones with clotted cream and two little pots of jam were OK, however the remaining small cakes were dreadful, none of them were fresh there were two eclairs that were inedible, either the cream or chocolate was off and they were very dry; two little red velvet cakes, which again were dry and horrible; and finally two small pieces of carrot cake that were the least objectionable but again very dry. When we told the waitress the eclairs, she said she would tell the chef but no offer of an alternative. True, it was an unforgettable experience, but not in the way we had expected! We have had afternoon teas in top hotels, pubs, cafes and well known garden centres and nothing came close to being as bad as this meal. Needless to say we will never return and would strongly advise caution if anyone is thinking of going here."
