Despite being very elegant and the food not being bad, we were disappointed by the poor service. The staff was not knowledgeable about the vegan options, making it difficult for us to make choices. We have decided that we will not be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant is well-maintained and has incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The main menu offers a variety of vegan options for starters, mains, and sides, with allergens clearly marked throughout. However, the drinks menu could be clearer in terms of vegan options.

this place is a fantastic choice for vegans with omni friends/family. the menu is clearly marked with vegetarian, vegan and gf and has at the end only one section for vegan items. it is quite expensive, the portions are huge, the staff is friendly, and eating is delicious. there are more specialized Nepalese dishes, and the typical North Indians often find them elsewhere, but with fresh ingredients and not very oily. personal highlights were the daal, thiimi, kokosreis and saag aloo. This place is a fantastic choice for vegans with omni friends/family. The menu is clearly labelled with vegetarian, vegan, and gf, and has a section at the end just for vegan stuff. It's fairly priced, the portions are huge, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. There are more specialised Nepalese dishes, and the typical North Indian ones you often find elsewhere, but made with fresh ingredients and not very oily. Personal highlights were the daal, thimi, coconut rice, and saag aloo.

update 31/1/18: I was now in the actual restaurant, which is a beautiful modern room. eating was great as always, service a touch strange as the server was just very quiet. we had several times from the yak and yeti (they supply further when they call the restaurant as if they try to order on hungryhouse). they have arranged a whole vegan menu section with over 20 and so far we have tried about 10 and have not been disappointed by any. all dishes are very cheap at around £6.95 for a curry dishes and the vegan special roasted rice and mushroom rice are excellent. with a vegan section to make it so easy, we don't try to get curry anywhere else! only to note that if we order, they often send a...

Update 31/1/18: I've now been to the actual restaurant which is a nice modern space. Food was great as always, service a touch weird as the server was just very quiet. We have had takeaway from the Yak and Yeti several times (they deliver further if you phone the restaurant than if you try and order on Hungryhouse). They have a whole vegan section of the menu with over 20 dishes and so far we've tried about 10 and haven't been disappointed with any. All the dishes are very reasonably priced at around £6.95 for a curry dish and the vegan special fried rice and mushroom rices are excellent.
