This small and unassuming Thai eaterie on the High Street is somewhere that one should visit. Great food that's freshly cooked and excellent, friendly service. It's BYO as well, so a real bonus!

I was staying overnight on business in Margate again and a local person recommended this place. What a place, the most amazing food...cooked to order and to your taste! Simply delicious. Wonderful friendly staff, can't wait to work in Margate again. Thank you for my amazing, unexpected dinner.

we haven't been to yama for some time, so decided to pay her last night with the family a long overdue visit! I had forgotten how amazing eating here is! extraordinary aromen with everyone mouth and the price is inconceivable to my opinion! we will not leave it until our next visit! again thanks!

Phenomenal food .. however when ordering spicy food beware they do really mean spicy! Absolutely loved it, was a tad spicy for my partner so next time will be ordering something slightly less hot. This is the best Thai food I've ever had, and quite possibly the best food overall. I come here with my friend frequently, and there are so many options, almost all of which can be made with tofu and vegetables instead of meat, and at a lower price. Plus, the BYO charge is only £2.50, making it an affordable place with a relaxed atmosphere and incredible food.

Now this is going to sound unlikely but here goes. In this little, neglected piece of England we stumbled across some the best food I've had anywhere in the world! Seriously excellent and authentic Thai cuisine. We had a great selection and every item was freshly cooked in front of us and tasted divine. Honestly it's worth a trip to margate to go. first experience of Thai cuisine in this quirky small restaurant, full to the edge with customers, always a good sign of great good! and we were not disappointed. my man and I have always gone into the same Thai restaurant in the wide side for years, until we were introduced to the most delicious, authentic Asian cuisine by koch noi, cooked in the same room, according to their own heat specifications. we found our new favourite place and will definitely come back. and hope to introduce more people like us from our friends. a very friendly atmosphere, and the bonus to bring their own bottle!
