Had takeaway tonight was the worst ever cold food chicken was grizzly prawn toast under cooked same used to be a nice place never again

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant while trying their delivery service for the first time. The food was delicious and not greasy, with amazing flavors. The delivery was also quite speedy.

First time and will definitely come again. Staff are so friendly and polite, the food is so fresh and tastes soo good. The staff are always smiling and happy to help. The good is amazing and you can have as you can eat lol Ver carta

I had a wonderful evening at Yan Woo. The staff were smiling and happy as always. The food was delightful, and they even gave us Christmas crackers on the table. We didn't feel rushed at all, but the only issue was that it was a bit cold inside.

Ordered about 6 dishes, 1 being duck. Ran out of pancakes, had to wait 15 mins. Duck and rice went cold. Asked if we could get more but we was told no. Asked for the bill, waited over 20 minutes. Seemed bigger tables were priority. Shame really.

I've never been tempted to write a bad review before but my takeaway was awful. Took over an hour and a half to arrive. Not everything we ordered was delivered. Ordered a hot Malayan chicken dish... Bland beyond belief. Boiled chicken in a tasteless sauce, bland and horrible. Will never order from here again. Utter rubbish Ver carta

We’ve been ordering from here for over 10 years and sadly will no longer. The food has gone down so much in quality that it’s just not worth eating. The egg fried rice has so little taste. It’s like plain boiled rice with egg mixed in. The crispy beef largely just tastes of oil. Everything has such little flavour and the ingredients don’t taste fresh. It’s fine from being one of our favourite places in Portsmouth 10 years ago to a disappointing meal.

Went last night (Monday) for a friend 's birthday. We had the 'all you can eat ' menu for £20.95 per head. For me, the starters and the duck were the stars of the show, we had prawn toast, chicken and beef satay skewers, crab claws, salt chilli ribs, and more, although everything we ate was honestly gorgeous, not a single complaint. There was plenty of food and we were offered more of everything. Service was prompt courteous. I will be going back in the near future!

After dining at Yan Woo for many years for gatherings with family and friends, we were let down. The appetizer platter was average and the complimentary prawn crackers were a nice touch with our drinks. However, the duck was dry. The main courses were not as generous or aesthetically pleasing as on our previous visits. Despite booking a table for four at 7:30, we felt pressured to leave around 10pm. We had been ordering drinks all evening and did not want to be rushed out. Unsure if we will return until reading more positive reviews! Ver carta
