"First time for me in a restaurant. At first sight it looks nice. hosted by a very smiling server. After getting to know the map I ask the server if it is possible to change the quinoa by a can of fries and salads, it answers me coldly and categorically than not. So I'm asking for a burger with a chicken net. We waited more than an hour before we were served. (when people arrived 15min after us we were served and had finished while we were still not served) I even thought of a moment that we were forgotten. No bread on the table and a long wait before finally having a water carafe. Our dishes finally arrive and the big disappointment is not at all the burger I asked. I have an unhappy cooked and cooked chopped steak and a small slice of cheese. I didn't say anything about fear of having to wait for another hour while we were hungry. But my boyfriend had a very good ward! I'll go back to it maybe make a second opinion, but I'm not convinced. Too bad."

a very long service, to have dishes of poor quality, a relatively pleasant setting, I do not recommend this restaurant. I know very well the tex-mex kitchen, having lived in texas for a long time, and in yankee it is only a pale glimpse, the boss does not seem to be the trade, and the prices are expensive for what is served! Pass your way!

friendly atmosphere, terrace on the bustling fuzies street. Small interior courtyard well decorated, but what a disappointment on the guacamole! do not expect fresh lawyers and the fried dough that replaces tortillas had the horrible taste of a past oil. idem for fries served with the dish. The waiter kindly confirmed that they were coming out of the same fryer. but please, think about changing the oil!vins expensive for the proposed quality bottle at 5€ sold almost 20€)Entrecôte ok.Service ok.

"The Mediéval occupies an 11th-century building built on the left bank of the Agout River; you enter from the first street to the east — the door is a few steps below street level. We chose this restaurant because one of our party had been here ten years ago and had a very positive memory of it. We weren’t disappointed. Its name refers both to the date of its building and to its ambience: the room has a vaulted ceiling supported by arches, thick walls, an old wooden cabinet, and some medievalish decorations. The main room holds about fourteen tables; a further couple of tables are in an adjoining alcove, and a porch overlooking the river allows a couple of small tables, used seasonally. The tables are placed fairly close to one another but the feeling isn't quite cramped, especially as only four other tables were being used. The white tablecloths and sturdy chairs enhance to the comfortable feeling. We were greeted warmly for lunch, and the daily specials were explained to us. The 17€ menu of the day seemed good value. There were no choices. It began with a light and tasty fish mousse on salad greens with vegetables; this was the most creatively conceived and interesting part of the meal. It was followed by a "plat" of turkey with a particularly notable mushroom gravy and mixed mashed potatoes. The dessert was pears in a rich caramel cream. As others have noted, the portions are generous. Nothing could have done better, though I’d reinforce what another reviewer says, that with the gravy, mash, and caramel cream dessert, this was by no means a low-fat meal. Good crusty rolls were given us and replenished. We included a bottle of recent Gaillac wine, modestly priced. Service was quite friendly, but, as other reviewers have noted, sometimes a bit slow, since the staff is small. (Accordingly, I've rated the service "average", but it was much better than average in warmth.) We were in no hurry, though, and didn’t mind. Given its pleasant setting and and comfortable room, the friendliness of the staff, the good value, and the very interestingly conceived and well prepared (though rich) food, I’d recommend the Mediéval to others."
