"we went to eat in yasoya on Saturday noon with my friends, the promise of a izakaya (the family station) as in the japon had made a look at us for some time, and in view of the more positive comments found on all sites, social networks etc, we were finally tempted. the atmosphere was pleasant, the setting was not bad too, and the servers were nice, but despite everything we were disappointed. food is good but not extraordinary, and does not taste “as in Japan”. accustomed to restaurants in the Japanese betting district, hard to compare. the card we received was totally different from that presented outside the restaurant, maybe because we were there at noon? not very serious. the bento portions are really small compared to what can be found elsewhere, for the same price. I ordered a Japanese curry shrimp. The shrimps were good, but the curry did not meet my expectations: the particular and recognizable taste of Japanese curry was not at all there. It was the same curry that I buy at the crossroads, in the pot we warm, the Indian style, but we are far from a good Japanese curry. I had too cooked eggplants. the heart was tender, but the skin around was struggling to detach itself from the flesh, and if I ate it, everything was hard, like paper, not pleasant at all. Finally, the last surprise: at the beginning of the meal we were sold a "Japanese cocktail without home alcohol": lemonade and milk syrup. Let's try! What a surprise to find out that it was in fact clays? in the clay when you find it in the opera. if at least we sold it like a clay and not a house cocktail. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to find the japon spirit of a izakaya or a very short Japanese restaurant."
