Excellent service, catered to our needs, 30 degrees in Bristol today and staff came over with a fan, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic food and service all at a great price. We were looking for a place to eat and drink. This was the perfect place and was well looked after.

The staff are very friendly, efficient, eager to please. The beer food is good quality. The cellar is obviously well kept. The pub shows all AS Roma matches on the big screen in the back room there are always a few members of the local supporters club in attendance.

Out looking for a quick supper and found the perfect pub,I had chicken curry and a pint and the wife had fish and chips and a wine ,really nicely presented and not expensive plus the host was very friendly so we went back the next night for our supper really nice experience

Whilst visiting the historical site of the Templars Church, we found another bit of Bristol history at Ye Shakespear nearby. First visit we sat outside in the warm October sun enjoying an excellent pint of Gem ale from Bath brewery. Second visit a week later, a cosy pint inside chatting with the cheerful helpful bar staff. We are 3 women who met up at Ye Shakespeare for a mid week catch up. This pub had a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, our host really looked after us. Even though the kitchen was closed he arranged for pizzas to be delivered from the restaurant next door to eat in the pub. It was a lovely vibe, well decorated, clean and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant with some friends after work this week. The bartender was very welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. It had the cozy atmosphere of a traditional pub. They offer a variety of gin brands, which we had fun trying out. The restaurant has ample indoor seating as well as outdoor seating available. The establishment is well-maintained with stylish decor and clean restrooms. Conveniently located near Temple Meads station. I highly recommend paying a visit.

I decided to have lunch at this restaurant today after hearing great things about their Indian food menu. I ordered a chicken chattinad, lamb vindaloo with a saag paneer side, and a pilau rice, along with a pint of Inch's Cider. The food was incredibly delicious, as good or even better than Indian restaurants I've been to in Bristol. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for menu choices. In addition to the delicious flavors, the prices were very reasonable. If you're looking for authentic Indian curries in a pub setting, I highly recommend checking out Ye Shakespeare. You won't be disappointed! Ver carta
