"UNRELIABLE, RUDE STAFF, AVOID. Ordered this evening on Zafrani website. No confirmation email. Called up several times to check if the order had been received and no answer. Eventually got through and was told they were busy and order would be 25-30 minutes later than the estimated 60 minutes. Waited 30 mins and called back to ask where our order was and we were told the driver was en route and it would be with us in 5-8 minutes. 15 minutes later still no sign of order. We called back again and were told 15 minutes. When we said we were told it was on the way 15 minutes ago we were then told they had issues with cars breaking down and getting another delivery driver in etc. We asked to cancel the order and they pleaded with us not to. We then asked for a discount considering the 2+ hour wait and being lied to and they eventually offered £5 off a £50 order. When told this was insulting they offered £10. We asked to cancel unless they could offer an acceptable discount and were rudely told we 're not a charity house . Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Don 't take orders you can 't fulfill and sort your customer service skills out! Will not order again and will warn others to avoid."

Amazing curry. Anyone giving anything less than four stars for this place I wouldn’t introduce to my mother. That is all. Will be back every time I stay in Monton.

Requested freshly cooked Tandoori Chicken , it was pre cooked dry . Asked for a spicy sauce to go with it was charged an extra £3.50 for a sauce included in the price !!

We've got a takeaway from Zafrani most months for over three years and we've never once been disappointed! Unbelievable curries, great naans and onion bajis thrown in for free. We would never go anywhere else for our takeaway as nothing can ever live up to it.

We tried the Zafrani for the 1st time, I had Chicken Tikka Jalfresi, I can honestly say it’s the nicest I’ve ever had, I had Pilau rice Poppadums and chutney, all delicious. You can see your meals being prepared, it all looks very clean and hygienic, service was very good and food is good value

After becoming more and more disappointed with The Naz we decided to order from Zafrani. We rang our order for delivery and was told it would be 50 minutes to an hour. An hour and 15 minutes later it arrived with no apology, although two onion bhaji’s were put in as an added extra. The poppadom’s and pickles were lovely and fresh, the bhaji’s were nice but cold and needed reheating. Both main course portions were large, but the whole meal lacked flavour and needed more seasoning to give it a kick.

you have got to be joking!! went in tonight for a shish kebab sandwich, thats 2 shish kebabs on a nan bread £17.80 they asked for!! ended up going to shabna down the road who charged me £6. iv lived in swinton for 50 years, this is the first time i have though necessary that i should post a review on a restaurant that is clearly bad for the area. These guys are disgusting, even when questioned they still tried to pursue the ridiculous price. It gets worse, i only went here because i had to be on my way, the last time i ordered from here my curry was delivered to me after a 'bing ' from the microwave round the corner.
