Very welcoming friendly, nothing was too much. It was my birthday I was presented with a balloon, candle in an egg box chorus of happy birthday. My wife, daughter, and I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Zara's in Birchington yesterday. The chicken and beef were beautifully cooked, as were the crispy roast potatoes and vegetables. Everything was served piping hot. The food and service were excellent. I have also enjoyed their breakfasts, which are also great. Thank you, ladies.

Great little cafe on the highstreet. Not many tables and that makes it feel cosy and comfortable. Our server was excellent, the build your own breakfast was amazing, and the chatter was just right.
