"This was my first time in a combination of Bangladesh and Indian cuisine. It was beyond my expectation having had boneless tilapia fish and special fried rice. Not as spicy but very well cooked with proper sauces and the fish was sizzling. The special fried rice is by far better than the fried egg rice. This was complemented by a great wine. This is a rather small place but excellent service supersedes the size and also given the spotless environment. Very welcoming staff who really attend to you and listen. Next door is a great pub and four minutes away is a Picadilly line."

Good location, tube stations close by. Friendly staff, great food. We've been visiting for years now.

Friends brothers restaurant. We had a pan asian buffet, excellent mix of food, the calamari rings were to die for.

I used to dine at this restaurant frequently before Covid, and I recently ordered takeout from them. Not much has changed - the food is still delicious, spicy just the way I like it!

Worst Indian food I have ever had. Butter chicken is so sweet…in a thick korma sauce. Just terrible. Food has no taste…vegetable biryani is a bunch of cheap vegetables mixed with rice in oil…bad bad bad

Delicious food, I had a takeaway garlic naan, chicken tikka and saag with mushrooms. 2 poppadoms with an extra thrown in for free. All great price with the 15% Deliveroo discount! Very tasty, will definitely be ordering again.

I have to say that these Bangladeshis pretending to be Indian are deceiving customers! The food is certainly not authentic Indian cuisine. The quality is very poor and the kebabs are dry. This is likely the worst South Asian restaurant in Turnpike Lane. I would rather skip a meal than eat here.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 20+ years. Last few visits I have seen the quality of the food get worse, from half cooked chicken to good you could break your teeth on. My last visit today they informed us they no longer serve beer or wine. They seems so focused on there takeaway business that they no longer care about the restaurant. Quite sad really as we have been eating here for over 20 years.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we were a bit hesitant since there weren't many details under the dish titles. We tried the Duck Dhaka (which was average in taste with no spices), the chicken Dhansak (a bit sweet), but the standout dish was the chicken Madras (very spicy). We also ordered side dishes of sag bhaji, aubergine, and okra, all of which were delicious and flavorful. The 3 pilau and garlic Naan were made perfectly. Overall, a mixed experience but we enjoyed the side dishes and the chicken Madras.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
