"We went to Zizzi as part of a large group celebrating a family birthday. We normally go to Prezzo or Wildwood, won 't be going back to Zizzi in a hurry.... Customer service was poor staff were slow and the waiter bringing drinks asked who had the strawberry drink or the softtails . He clearly had not learnt the drinks menu. Didn 't want to take payment at the end of the meal (more below). They didn 't remember who had ordered waht, it was choatic and felt stressful rather than welcoming. Food distinctly average. My husband had the tripple pepperoni would have hated to see a single pepperoni , very sparse! Two of the guests had the risotto, the rice was hard and there was loads of liquid in the bowl which hadn 't been absorbed. For the money it was poor value and should have been cooked properly. Payment my sister left before we had dessert to take my elderly mother home. She gave me cash to cover the cost of 4 of the party not an insignificant amount. When the time came to pay I was told cash was not accepted at Zizzi and apparently there was a sign on the froint door. This would be the front door that was wide open against the wall with people in front of it because there was a long queue waiting for our table to be ready! Then we were told that staff wouldn 't take payment, that we had to use an app if we we wanted to pay individually. I loaded up the food and drinks from the 4 people plus my husband and I, then the app crashed, this happened a couple of times and after that I insisted staff processed the payment. Some serious quality checks needed on the food before it 's served to customers, and some customer service training for the staff is required. There is so much choice of Faketalian available in Salisbury Zizzi really needs to up it 's game..."

The The

Pizza was thin and tasty, not burn on borders. Pasta crisps were simply delicious. Good choice of ciders and beers. A bit expensive but in line with other restaurants.

We've never been to this restaurant before and we will definitely be returning very soon. Great menu, great service and excellent food, well worth the money. Couldn't fault it in any way.

Visited a couple of times now and always impressed with their vegan offerings. They also have vegan options for kids which is amazing as not everywhere does. Highly recommend the rainbow lasagna. So unusual to get a decent vegan lasagna!

Extremely noisy so not good for intimate dining.Staff are very efficient and welcoming despite how busy they are. Can’t say I particularly enjoyed the chicken dish I ordered. Chicken was chewy but the vegetables were tasty.I think it’s probably a restaurant best suited to lovers of pizza and pasta. Ver carta

Fewer vegan options than I have seen in other Zizzi restaurants in London and Bristol. They had just one vegan pizza and a vegan pasta dish. The vegan garlic bread was nice though and there were also two vegan desserts. Bonus that the free pasta chips are both gluten free and vegan. Service was slow on our visit, hence the three star.

My partner and I stumbled across Zizzi in Salisbury whilst visiting for the day. A quick Google search for their menu showed that they had a few vegan options so we gave it a try. They had two vegan pizzas and a few pasta dishes (though only one vegan pasta dish was shown on the menu). We ordered the lentil ragu and the jackfruit pizza. Both dishes were really delicious; we were also given some vegan/gluten free pasta chips!

This chain of restaurants claims to be Italian, but neither the dishes nor the ingredients used for cooking are Italian. It's impossible to make a carbonara with chorizo and call it an Italian dish. It's a lack of respect for the Italian people and the reputation of Italian cuisine. Even the pizza and all the other dishes are not Italian. Absolutely appalling. My father had booked a table for the family for an early dinner prior to the pantomime. He had thought it odd when they hadn't asked for his name but he was told it was fine as they had his number. We arrived and were told we didn't have a booking. The guy serving us had a terrible attitude really couldn't have cared less. He disappeared and finally appeared to say there was nothing they could do. No apology or offer to help or a voucher to encourage us to come back. Was absolutely disgusted with the lack of accountability that they had screwed up the booking. We left the restaurant and after a stressful 15 minutes of frantic Googling and phoning, we managed to secure a...

Absolutely appalling… Myself and my husband had just stumbled across the restaurant in the hope that the staff would be able to seat us at the reasonable hour of 6pm. We were informed by a very abrupt and incredibly rude young woman that the restaurant was ‘fully booked’ although there were very few guests seated. We waited a while and just as we were about to leave the other waitress informed us that they could actually now seat us. We were rushed to our table, where we were to discover that the table we had been assigned was still in fact dirty. Absolutely appalling. After waiting for 20 minutes a dark haired lady dressed highly inappropriately for service came to our table to offer us som...

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."
