"my work brought me in the last two decades after a few, and I created a list of “go to” restaurants when I am there on business (or pleasure) unfortunately COVID-19 has changed very much. some restaurants have closed permanently. And... many others who stayed in the business changed and often not better: limited menus and hours, poorer quality eating and service, etc. I am happy to add to the old market to my list of go-to restaurants in münchen! it is a small restaurant (and reservations are a must,) and there is no extensive menu, but there is something for everyone, and each course of my meal was excellent. I would mark her kitchen “Creative traditional Bavarian with a flair”. and did I mention the dumplings? the most restaurants in the dunes serve knödel, which are best referred to as “forgetable”: chewing, sticky and tasteless. these dumplings were the kind they hear as described “some grandmother used to make” light, fluffy and delicious! the service is professional and attentive. eating is carefully and perfectly prepared. the portions are perfect and the prices are more than reasonable and each bite was delicious! I will definitely come back!"

it really enjoyed this place. on Saturday it was packed, but they were nice enough to impress us. beautiful, classic Bavarian food. excellent wine list. in the inner was breathtakingly beautiful, but everyone sat outside when it was so beautiful.

This cozy restaurant has an authentic charm, everything in the decoration collaborates for the immersive experience of Bavaria. Great and friendly service provided by Felix. Our meals came in beautifully presented and flavours were vivid.

Fresh, traditional, honest Bavarian food with a fine, modern twist. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and you will not find a restaurant in Munich with more authentic, friendly and passionate service personnel. We always feel at home here and feel like true, valued guests. The wine menu is particularly impressive. Special allergy and dietary restrictions can be discussed personally with the chef and he will even come around to your table to make sure that everything is in order. There is a weekly lunch menu and a seasonal dinner menu, you definitely need to come back in order to try all of the delicious fare. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Bavaria!
