the place is a real Bavarian gem, good (traditional) eating, good beer, good service. the athmosphere is simple. huge portions eat.

We visited as a group of three and then a group of five. Lovely schnitzel as well as steak at this Bavarian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and speak very good English.

Excellent food, great beer, and beautiful building. Definitely try the Munich schnitzel; it has mustard and horse radish between the meat and bread crumbs! Red cabbage salad (warm) is delicious, fantastic apple strudel, and of course plenty of great German beer!!!!!

I visited with Zum Brunnwart with colleagues. Having a Schnitzel with cold beer outside under chestnut trees is the true Munich experience. If the weather is good, you can be sure Brunnwart is well visited which may cause delays in getting the attention of the...staff.

we young people from work ordered our food, it came in 40min time frame, I had swarmed, it was totally amazing! 2 enormous pieces, crust was crispy crispy, with delicious sauce above and 2 crunchy. I am fat and happy now, best spent 11,90€ in. my life! thank you and thank you!

We stopped in here for drink our first night in Munich. We liked it so much that we went back for dinner a few nights later. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and prompt. This restaurant is walking distance from the Marriott...and I would highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

As a visitor it was a good to experience a nice restaurant that was frequented by locals having a fun evening meal. The atmosphere was classic Bavarian. They had a variety of offerings of German food especially of the famous German Schnitzel that was very...good. Of course that was a extensive selection of German Beer.

the munchner schnitzel is a certain recommended. the scavenging a surprising note that this scavenger improves on another level. the swirl roast was also absolutely delicious! but the cherry above was the flame-ambierter imperial marr, which we ordered with vanillasosse instead of the apfelmus. talk about a meal for kings and kings. in any case one must experience in munchen.

We were looking for a nice lunch nearby with local Bavarian flavor. The service was fast and nice the food unfortunately not good. The food was put on the plates with almost no consideration. The meat was hard to chew. The vegetables were cooked too...long and consequently no taste and wishy-washy. For the quality of the food and the presentation of the food definitely too expensive.
