"It's funny: If you drive a few kilometers out of the overloaded Ruhr area, you'll find the most amazing restaurants and also save one or the other euro. So it's also at the Försterhaus, which I accidentally discovered during the driveway and reserved there a few days later. This is a good-bourgeois cuisine; Pizza, Gyros or Döner you won't find here, but it's probably western-fälische specialities such as cramps or fried blood sausages. The foods at my visit were high quality and did not look like the bar, the price for it was more than fair and you can say: extremely inexpensive. The ambience is rustic and certainly not at the level of time, but this is exactly what makes a culinary journey of time. What happened to Grandma? And it has always tasted me there.
