"It's funny: If you drive a few kilometers out of the overloaded Ruhr area, you'll find the most amazing restaurants and also save one or the other euro. So it's also at the Försterhaus, which I accidentally discovered during the driveway and reserved there a few days later. This is a good-bourgeois cuisine; Pizza, Gyros or Döner you won't find here, but it's probably western-fälische specialities such as cramps or fried blood sausages. The foods at my visit were high quality and did not look like the bar, the price for it was more than fair and you can say: extremely inexpensive. The ambience is rustic and certainly not at the level of time, but this is exactly what makes a culinary journey of time. What happened to Grandma? And it has always tasted me there. The operation underlines the whole and is with love with the thing. Top! There are enough parking spaces and the highway is nearby. Perhaps also interesting for one or other car driver. We were there for the first time, at the food you can't criticize anything, very tasty, sufficient and nicely dressed. The service was friendly, the waiting period was not long. The 5 star lacks the ambience, it is clean, but rather Gelsenkirchener Barock. You might have to adjust the whole thing to the name, e.g. in a hunting silence. Nevertheless we come back as it was just delicious

Anyone looking for a restaurant with a beautiful ambience is at the same time able to come up with a very good kitchen will not be disappointed here. The restaurant gives you a nice feeling like sitting at Grandma's table again. The food is very good and a welcome contrast to the urban snack food, here is offered an even real home cooking while covering a good portfolio. The offer is rounded off by a nice workforce and a good value for money. I look forward to the next time
