"Being open on Monday directed us here, seated in an attractive airy first floor dining room with seaviews and sunset. One efficient young man serving all the tables was alert and responsive. Entrees we enjoyed were the Plancha seafood platter with Oysters, Prawns, whelks, superb mackerel pate, samphire and good rustic bread and alongside a bowl of squid chopped into small cubes well seasoned and cooked. The main courses were very limited to a choice of 4 Octopus, nicely presented on polenta if a little heavy on the oil, or a slab of beef skirt, which was not really worth 21 euros, a chicken dish and a passable effort at fish and chips. We had hoped and expected moules given the volume produced hereabouts but surprisingly they were not available maybe because it was Monday. Out of the 3 desserts on offer we chose well with the cafe gourmand. This is a original and delicious way to finish a meal consisting of a choux bun with rich chocolate sauce on top ice cream inside, a pot of rice pudding with caramel sauce, a soft almond cake slice and a small cup of ultra strong espresso. Total bill including two glasses of wine and a couple of pre dinner beers came to 115 euros. Only one unisex toilet cubicle."
