"This restaurant is set in a small area on the outskirts of town. The welcome from the chef and front of house staff was nice. Menu is limited, which I like (as it suggests fresh ingredients ; so far, so 'goood '. We were not overly hungry so chose to skip starters, so can 't comment on those, and went straight to mains. Here 's where it fell down. Husband and I chose the fish and son went for the lobster pasta. The seabass fish was nice enough, just not 'wow '. It was served on a combination of typical roasted courgette and some kind of cold peppers, a bit weird and not the biggest portion, but OK. The lobster pasta was average at best. The 200g lobster amounted to two mouthfuls of not very good lobster. Not rubbery and overcooked, but not juicy and succulent; sort of 'dry ' and flavourless. This basically left a bowl of pasta and tomato sauce with a couple of olives for 25 euro. I noticed from a previous poor review that the chef commented he had not been told about any issues during the meal, so I decided to let him know that the pasta dish did not meet my expectations. To be fair, he did come out and speak to us, but proceeded to tell me how the lobster must have been fine because it is fresh every day and it is consistently on the menu because it is a restaurant favourite. He also reminded me that it stated 200g on the menu. I don 't really know what that means, but I had expected that this would equate to more than two mouthfuls (maybe the 200g relates to the overall lobster, shell and all and not the contents? . Anyway, he didn 't seem to want to acknowledge the customer 's perspective, which is a shame. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant as it was the most disappointing of my 2.5 week visit to France (see my other more positive reviews . I would recommend Chez LuLu or Casa Di Luciano for a much more enjoyable meal."

"Was keen to visit this place, given the reviews on TripAdvisor, but what a crushing disappointment. It was mid-morning on a Sunday - there was no one else in the place, the guy that greeted us wasn't exactly warm and I didn't feel comfortable. We ordered 2 coffees, a bottle of water (which was the most expensive bottle of water I have ever had on the Riviera - €6.50) and 2 bruschettas. The whole lot came to €40.The bruschetta that I ordered made no mention of it having cheese (I don't like cheese) - but it arrived with cheese. So being hungry I picked away at the parma ham and the outside crust which wasn't coated in cheese. The guy serving asked if there was something wrong with it, I told him I didn't like cheese. He asked if I wanted something else, but my companion had virtually finished his by this stage, so it wasn't worth it.At the very least - as a gesture of goodwill, I thought he would knock something off the bill but no.I was never so glad to get out of the place. It's also noisy - on a main road and this was a Sunday and some of the road was closed off. Also, another couple came in while we were there and even though there were no other customers at any tables, this couple sat at a table for 4, but the guy made them move to another table, even though the lady expressively wanted a 3rd seat for something she was carrying. I thought he was very rude and totally disinterested in his customers. The worst experience I have ever had anywhere on the Riviera and I go about 3/4 times every year to various resorts."

"Recommended location, booking made, hard car access, mandatory valet service at 15 €.Passed in front of the boss who assigns us a table., without wishing us a “ben cameto “no serious I am not part of the limited circle of showbiz, I understand. The rooms are well kneaded, the top-of-the-range dishes.Only placed we are asked if we want to take a consumption, I ask for the wine map and sees a first prize at 49 € for a very unusual climbpulciano, because spoiled by a taste of metal in the mouth. The rest of the wine map presents stratospheric prices. the most part showing a x5 coefficient in the nose view. Good, good to say... The ordered dishes did not present any particularity of taste excellence, some were even disappointing, edible certainly but nothing more, I think of the insipid tonato vitello. Note that the main dishes are served unfilled, if you add them with the garnish have on average 60 € the serving, my garnish was a purée of pd t, served warm, returned to the kitchen, Question service, charming waitress, which brings in the middle of the works the bottle of wine ordered after our remark. We pass the desserts, coffee, and ask for the addition. Our waitress rids the table, emptying each plate of its roses in a dish, in sum as in the refectory of a barracks, incredible! I learned that the famous mamo sold its establishment to start another business...” buona fortuna signore “ but try in the future not to take the customers for “pecione” pigeons."

"We went last night for dinner. And, before my girlfriend had even finished her main course, the staff started removing the tables & chairs either side of our table and, still before she had even finished her main course, we were sitting on a table in isolation. And next came all the metal security barriers and tables from the club next door, which was being dragged out and set up all around our table. It felt like eating in a construction side, and by the time my girlfriend finished her main course, we felt (1) isolated and encased in a jail like area (with security barriers surrounding us and (2) all eyes of the club and restaurant people staring at us, making us feel terribly uncomfortable and wanting us to leave. We were so uncomfortable, so, with no choice for us, we told them we were leaving and, as we obviously had such a bad experience and definitely didnt want desserts or coffee (which I am sure, they didn't want us to have either) we told them we were not going to pay. To our complete surprise, THEY CALLED THE POLICE......... wow, it was so unbelievable. With such terrible experience, I was so surprised, they didn't apologise and say forget it......... but no, they called the police. We paid, as the police said we had to as we ate the food. It was irrelevant that we had not finished dinner and my girlfriend experiencing such a terrible experience during her main course, they insisted on us paying (even the service!!!). No apology just called the police. Furthermore, THEY LIED TO THE POLICE, saying they offered us another table inside (but actually we had asked before we even started the starters if they had another table as the smoke from the people next to us was not good, but they only had a table inside at the very back, so we said we would accept the smoke rather than the bad table). Also, THEY TOOK MY G/F MOBILE PHONE when we refused to pay, but fortunately, my girlfriend was strong enough to get it back. Never experienced this in all my life and I have been to some very rough countries. I got video and photos so will try to load them. Anyway, there is another pizza place down the road, just after the grand mariner pancake place. Whilst I have never tried it before, next time we fancy a pizza, we will go there. And, anyway, the pizza was not as good as it used to be, bland, basic and flavourless. So recommend, if you want a good pizza and/or don't want such a disgusting experience, they go somewhere else."
