"Visited for Breakfast with friends as we had heard good things, were slightly underwhelmed as although the staff were friendly and efficient, the menu was disappointing, although specials added a bit of variety, the portions were small, my bacon on the fry was cold, although the huge pot of tea and proper mug helped ease that pain, and on paying the bill, the scones pastries and sweet stuff looked good.However, what put us off was the total lack of COVID 19 precautions, with no social distancing, staff not wearing any face coverings at all, no shielding at till or counter, and the majority of customers not wearing any face coverings, and obviously not being challenged or questioned at all, not good in a country with the highest death rate in the British Isles, and the highest infection rate."
