"Tucked away outside the village of Aydie, in the lovely Gers countryside, is this little gem. firmly aimed at the lunch-time trade (when we usually go) for local people, so no airs and graces, just good, honest food. Remember that most people in the region take two hours over lunch, so don't go expecting rapid service - relax with a bottle of red from the local chateau (in the same village) and treat yourself to the mushroom omelette, which is sensational.
