Food excellent, especially the mushroom omelette. Lovely people. The only minor issue (and the reason I've only given it four stars) is that two of us wanted creme brulee for dessert and they only had one left. Bad planning!

We have been eating at this restaurant for more than 14 years and we have never been disappointed. The food is as traditional local fare as you can find - good honest home cooking. Nothing ever changes and we have been served by the same wonderful staff for as long as we can remember. Aydie is an institution for local home cooked food.

What a great surprise! If, like us, you go to the borders of Gercicovie, you will not end up being in the Atlantic Pyrenees at Aydie relay. For a content rate you will have a nice parade of traditional dishes with local flavours. To fill all appetites. The reception capacity is rather good and the reactivity of the service is as good. Tucked away outside the village of Aydie, in the lovely Gers countryside, is this little gem. firmly aimed at the lunch-time trade (when we usually go) for local people, so no airs and graces, just good, honest food. Remember that most people in the region take two hours over lunch, so don't go expecting rapid service - relax with a bottle of red from the local chateau (in the same village) and treat yourself to the mushroom omelette, which is sensational.
