"We arrived with the idea of having an aperitif and then deciding whether to have dinner there. Since we didn't book, they gave us a table at the back, but wanting only to have an aperitif we asked to have one on the sand, also at the back in front of the music box which, in my opinion, for aperitif time was too high: I advise the staff to ask customers if they are dining or just stopping for an aperitif and in the latter case to suggest the beach because the location is so beautiful that it conquers on its own. At the table the waiter comes after 12 minutes of us being seated, without a card so I guess you have to know for yourself what they offer. We then ask for the paper and the cleaning of the table, the paper arrived, we kept the table dirty. At minute 15 we manage to send the order, at minute 25 our drinks arrive... total expense approx. 30 CHF, not even an olive to accompany them. I understand you have just opened, but the welcome and organization cannot be improvised. It's not the negative reviews that take customers away (I think we understand each other), but the poor service. Sit down with the team, give yourself a reception model that includes customer options, and organize yourself by zones based on the level of saturation by time slot (I imagine that at 5pm customer requests are different from those at 7pm). You have an incredible structure, you will only make it work if you capitalize on it by combining it with a consistent service. Good job guys!"

"Found a really great hotel in Ascona. Price performance absolutely top. The lake can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The hotel is quietly located just behind Migros. I booked the room very spontaneously and at short notice. It didn't work with the online check in. However, everything was done to ensure that it worked and that we could check in later. I was there earlier and was warmly welcomed at reception. The room including the lounge in front of the room were absolutely great. Unfortunately it rained and the lounge could not be used. The mattresses were too hard for me. However, what you prefer is different for everyone. The walk in shower was huge with a rain shower head and regular shower head. Large walk in closet, toilet was separate from the shower. Rooms were absolutely clean. We stayed in room number 2 studio suite. 2 adults 2 children 2 dogs It also has a pool which we didn't visit due to the weather. There was free coffee and cake in the afternoon. You could always get your own coffee and tea. There was also a self service wine bar, refrigerator with delicacies, various drinks and ice cream. You were allowed to help yourself and simply write down what you needed with the room number. I thought that was great. You could serve yourself 24 hours a day. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Another fridge with Birchermüesli, yoghurt, fruit salad, milk, raw eggs to cook yourself, jam and butter. Two large platters of cheese and a platter of various cold cuts. A large platter with various fresh fruits. A basket with bread, rolls and toast to make yourself. Vegan muesli and cookies as well as “normal” muesli, chocolate croissants and a machine that directly presses fresh orange juice. You can order scrambled eggs and then you get real scrambled eggs. Not from the tetra pack! Dogs are welcome for 15. per day. A dog cushion was even placed in the room for each dog. This hotel is really recommended!"
