"Ich bin enttäuscht. Hörte vieles...woow die Burger etc... Wollten ein tollen abend machen... Chicken Wings wurden nicht geliefert, jedoch bezahlt. Chickenburger war leider roh! Also nicht essbar! Die Pommes...wie soll ich die Pommes beschreiben, für einen Burger mit Pommes welches 29.90 bezahlt wird, erwarte ich selbstgemachte Pommes, und kein Tiefkühlprodukt, und zu lange fritiert waren. Es war das erste und das letzte mal. Und ja ich habe hier gelesen ihr liefert nicht, daher ist es nicht eure Schuld für das fehlende essen...Ich bestelle bei Euch das essen kommt von Euch, ihr seid verantwortlich das die Lieferanten alles Liefern. Packt es so ein, das einfaxch ist nichts zu vergessen."

"We were given a table right next to the window so we had a lovely view of the river. We were happy to find an Indian restaurant as it is our favourite cuisine. It had many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. We chose the samosas to start and they came with three small pots of dipping sauce. It was a good job because without the sauce they would have been dry and bland. We needed more sauce. I chose the butter panir masala because that is usually my favourite sauce but the panir did not taste right and I wasn't sure whether it might be off so I didn't finish it, which was a shame because the sauce was very good. The waiter said he spoke English but didn't seem to understand us, so we had to point a lot."

"The food wasn’t all that bad, pizza a little dry. Our biggest disappointment was the service. We got some very delicious complimentary bread and olive oil when we first arrived. After a long day of checking out the city we were very hungry and while waiting for our food we asked for some more bread. The server seemed so offended and did not bring any more bread. We finished our meal, ordered some more food, and she still had not brought the bread. I understand maybe it’s culturally unacceptable for the restaurant to serve more bread, but it really isn’t that big of an ask and if it helps us enjoy our meal more, why be so rude about it? Eventually she brought the bread when our meal was completely over and we were all full, after we had asked a second time. And when she did, the bread was very cold, unlike the first basket she brought out. Overall, I think the servers poor attitude completely ruined our meal. We didn’t feel very welcome in the restaurant, and though the food was good, the experience was terrible because of the server."

"This place was great for us, we are American citizens and do not feel that you have to pay exorbitant prices for a pizza and beer. Our hotel sent us through the city to another restaurant and it was closed... Luckily, when we came back, we saw... this beautiful little place ordered a wonderful Hawaiian pizza and had a great cold beer... our waitress was very nice and our night was complete!"

"Welcher Alleinreisende kennt das Problem nicht: Es gibt kaum Hotels mit Einzelzimmern, und man muss ein für eine einzelne Person viel zu teures Zweierzimmer buchen. Dieses Problem gibt es hier nicht: Für einen äußerst fairen Preis kann man hier ein kleines Einzelzimmer bekommen einfach, aber mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Obwohl das Hotel zentral gelegen ist, ist es nachts ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und die Küche ist ausgezeichnet! Für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt in Basel werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier ein Zimmer buchen!"

"What a charming, welcoming, friendly place. When you approach the counter, you can see into the kitchen, and immediately I felt that authentic home cooking vibe. The staff was really nice and explained everything. You can select the buffet or items from the menu. I think I arrived shortly after the hour. There were a lot of business / office people just finished and left as I arrived. It seems very popular. When I arrived and asked for a table, I was advised to choose what I wanted before I sat down. Of course I had to try the tofu and vegetable pho. I was looking for a place to sit and was really pleasantly surprised by the decoration and style. I appreciated the warmth and the cozy home like the restaurant. There's a piano in the corner, and a little Buddha. The paintings on the wall 'Vietnam Style '. The Pho arrived and I wasn't dissapointed. It tasted great. A beautiful large bowl filled with rice noodles, carrots, red onions, tofu and a mint and chili shrimp. The broth was also very aromatic and not too salty. After meal, I was recommended to have Vietnamese coffee. It was also very nice and it came with the coffee still filtering into the glass. I always love when it's served. Art, theatre and food are a great combination. After that I went down to use the bathroom, and to my surprise there was another dining room. The restaurant is much bigger than outside. The bathrooms were very clean and melt fresh. 5 stars round. Card payments accepted."

"Wir bestellten uns eine Pizza, welche uns sehr schmeckte. Die Zutaten waren frisch vom Markt, der Teig war dünn und knusprig, wie er sein sollte! Das Essen schmeckte uns sehr! Positiv: Man kann sich eine App auf das Smartphone laden und dort am Tisch bestellen und bezahlen. Eigentlich bin ich kein grosser Freund von gemischten Salaten, da in vielen Restaurants Zutaten aus der Konserve (sehr beliebt: Maiskörner aus der Dose) dabei sind und ich die a) nicht mag und sie b) meiner Meinung nach nichts in einem Restaurant verloren haben, welches sich frische Küche auf die Fahne geschrieben hat.Die Salate waren komplett aus frischen Zutaten zusammengesetzt, schön präsentiert und schmackhaft. Die Pizza war sehr gut, dünner, schmackhafter Boden, leckerer Belag.Auch der Espresso danach war aromatisch voll in Ordnung.Dazu kam aufmerksamer Service und ein angemessener Preis. Daher von mir eine klare Empfehlung."

"The restaurant was busy, so a reservation makes sense. The waiting times for the order, the food and the bill were rather long, but that worked to our advantage because we had a lot to talk about. The food was good, a little more spice was missing. I had a risotto with asparagus and cherry tomatoes. There wasn't much asparagus, so I think Fr 26 was rather expensive for what was on the plate. Another meal of rigatoni with vegetables was good in terms of seasoning. Food changes and requests were addressed without any problem. The waiter was friendly. "We stopped for lunch after a visit to the Munster. Had a lovely meal. Although it was a nice day we ate indoors because the patio was full of smokers. The Swiss smoke a great deal and the only way to avoid it with meals is to sit indoors if possible. This is not a complaint about the restaurant - merely a statement of fact. My daughter and I had the pasta pesto; the food was very good. The portion was just the right size. The service was very attentive; our order was taken promptly and we didn't wait long for our meal. "While the food was OK, the proprietress blatantly tried to rip us off for exactly 20 francs. While I went to find a table in the awesome Markethalle, my husband paid for our food. When he got to the table, I asked if he had tipped her. He handed me the change, and I saw that we were 20 francs short. When I confronted her, she ran right to the cash draw and bought me the 20! I hadn't even told her the amount we were short! I wonder how many unsuspecting touris she rips off everyday! Beware if ou don't know th language or the money!"
