"When we were shown to our table, it was located on the first floor, which may be a challenge for some guests. However, our table was beautifully set with a clean tablecloth. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was tastefully modern, well-lit, and meticulously clean, with staff who clearly took pride in their establishment, as evidenced by their regular cleaning during our visit.
It was refreshing to see they served beer on tap—many Indian restaurants these days seem to be alcohol-free. The menu was beautifully presented and featured an interesting variety of dishes beyond the usual offerings found in Indian restaurants.
Our appetizers were served on well-prepared dishes and were absolutely delicious. The main course was divine, and I must say, this is probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited, and surprisingly, it was not expensive at all. If you find yourself in the Belper area and looking for a great dinner, you absolutely must try Elaichi. I know you won’t be disappointed! Oh, and they offer takeout as well."
