"When we were shown to our table, it was located on the first floor, which may be a challenge for some guests. However, our table was beautifully set with a clean tablecloth. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was tastefully modern, well-lit, and meticulously clean, with staff who clearly took pride in their establishment, as evidenced by their regular cleaning during our visit. It was refreshing to see they served beer on tap—many Indian restaurants these days seem to be alcohol-free. The menu was beautifully presented and featured an interesting variety of dishes beyond the usual offerings found in Indian restaurants. Our appetizers were served on well-prepared dishes and were absolutely delicious. The main course was divine, and I must say, this is probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited, and surprisingly, it was not expensive at all. If you find yourself in the Belper area and looking for a great dinner, you absolutely must try Elaichi. I know you won’t be disappointed! Oh, and they offer takeout as well."

Great food friendly staff meat was so tender, I had mixed kebab and beef madras and I asked for mushrooms and green peppers wasnt a problem, great flavour and very tasty

The menu is excellent and features some unique options. The service is generous and attentive. While there are stairs leading to the restaurant area, they can reserve a table on the lower level for anyone with mobility issues.

I have booked for 4 of us on Saturday night, as I was looking somewhere in the middle of the chest and derby, so we could meet friends to catch up. after the arrival, until the service was abandoned was amazing and nothing was too much annoyed, our food came quite fast and the presentation and smell was great. now for the taste, absolutely delicious, the curry was so delicious and the mushroom was amazing, the waiter made me even a nan brot that was not on the menu, he told me just what they want in it and I will do it. will be in the future doubtful again many thanks for a great night james
