"My first time at Papa Joe in Bern. Went there for my Friends Birthday last Saturday. Beautifully decorated but a little bit dissappointed with everything else. Been to other Papa Joe's before. Nothing to complain. The Location looks very good and well decorated. The Toilet smells very bad. It stinks of pee like it hasnt been clean for months. I went there to wash my hands but couldnt stay longer than a couple sec. The chrispy Chicken Wings we got served was all almost completely burned /overcooked darkbrown/black. We didn't want to throw it away or complain then but for the price we have paid i should have complained. It shouldn't have been served in the first place when it looks almost black. Other than that the Fries and other Food we have ordered were well done and delicious. The Panache should have been half/half but it was very little to almost no beer in it. I like sweet but 8.50 for a little sweet soda with so little beer was too much. So that could be improved as well. Sorry but this is an honest review."

"Lunch at the Rosengarten with that AMAZING view of the old town, very nice food and super friendly and efficient service, was one of the highlights of our European holiday. Reflecting on all the other reviewers' comments about the restaurant's popularity, we only heard about it on our arrival in Bern and went there without a reservation to find it packed. To our amazement our party of five was not only accepted but shown to the best table in the corner by the window with an unimpeded view of Bern. We still can't believe our luck and the Rosengarten will forever be the site of one of our most memorable meals."

"we have here for an evening meal in the hope for a good typical Swiss dinner and we have! very well located and with super nice and friendly staff. the eating was local and there was a good choice to choose dressed, nevertheless. the quality of it was really high and, even after eating much, you liked felt good and not overwhelmed, how often in other restaurants where the quality is not the best. the only problem is the crazy high prices, but I know is so everywhere in the Swiss, so in consideration of the quality when comparing it with local trips is a good price, but crazy expensive to my standards from the Swiss (we had an appetizer, two main courses, a bottle of water, a glass wein and a beer: all only for the bottle water was just one idea to give). as always, if they are here and they are looking for a typical place to have a beautiful meal and time, definitely recommend to stop by."

"Es war ein schöner Sommerabend. Das Ristorante hat uns extra zwei Tische reserviert. Einen drinnen und einen draussen. Was für ein Service! Wir haben zu neunt im Ristorante Rialto gegessen und jeder hat eine andere Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert gewählt. Es wurde alles super schnell, zusammen und noch heiss serviert. Der Service war perfekt und das Essen der Hammer! Ich kann diese Pizzeria jedem weiterempfehlen und habe sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort gegessen. Danke vielmals für den tollen Abend!"

Preisklasse ist gut ! Negativer preis war beim Brachsen Fisch mit Reis 38.50.- Finde ich für ein Brachsen Fisch zu teuer 2 Sanbitter für 11.20 finde ich auch zu teuer ! Sonst ist der Preis völlig in Ordnung Sooo zum Schluss noch den service ,fand Ich persönlich gut ,sie waren höflich und fragten Ob es alles gut ist oder ob wir was noch bräuchten ,wichtig ist es war immer jemand pressend auf die Terrasse Das Restaurant Cavallo Star ist sehr zum empfehlen und ich komme garantiert wieder Bravo an das ganze Team von Cavallo Star Sehr gut weiter so ,nur über den Kopf Gedanken machen über die Kritiken !
