"We went on a Sunday afternoon for my son's birthday meal, our first visit. Massively busy to the extent it felt a bit like a canteen; our table was right next to the carvery, so we had people queuing right next to us. Whilst we were letting our main course go down before dessert, we were then asked if we'd mind moving tables so that they could accommodate a large party. Also, only a small bar area, whilst waiting for our table, I went to get a drink, but they wanted a table number before they'd serve me. An expensive £25 for two courses; 6 people, 1 drink each (4 cokes, 1 orange juice and 1 pint of lager), came to £173. Average food, too.
