"Made several attempts to try book an Afternoon Tea to celebrate a 50th Birthday back on the summer 2019. Constantly phoned over a fortnight but never bothered to answer! So after being recommended I decided to call down to Browns in an attempt to book. Totally wasted my time as admittedly 15 mins prior to closing, staff member abruptly said “I cant give you any information or take a booking now because I’m too busy clearing up! I suggest you phone us!!” Eventually we did manage to book, however, it was a big mistake as no table ready on arrival as promised. Chipped teapot with Luke warm tea, not sure when the sandwiches had been made and bread dry, limp lettuce. Not pleasant! Cakes were marginally better. We will definitely not be returning to this Tea House in a hurry."

"Lindy Lou's is an absolutely delightful tea room in the heart of Crayford that takes you back in time with it's kooky vintage decor and classic china tea pots and tea cups the only way tea should be served in my opinion. The food is delicious with a wonderful array of sandwiches, scones and cakes, served in a vintage atmosphere of helpfulness and courtesy hurrah for non fast food, though should add, the food was fast, just not thrown at me in a paper bag. Highly recommend, it's not just a place to have cuppa, it's an experience."

"Gave this café a visit on the off chance as choice was high on this high street and was very pleasantly surprised !The food was very good, great sized portions and excellent choice at a reasonable price.The staff were very friendly and willing. Owner came for a chat along with the Chef.I would definitely recommend this café whether its just for a cuppa or for excellent food."

"My partner and I fancied some real Italian food so visited La Stalla last Saturday evening. The food as always was exceptional my partner had scallops wrapped in bacon with a beautiful sauce and I had calamari which was a large portion really fresh and with a piquant home made tartare sauce. For main course I had spaghetti carbonara which was excellent as only home made sauce can be, creamy but not sickly or too heavy and my partner had the specials menu seafood pasta which was gorgeous with an added extra serving of assorted king prawns squid and clams in a spicy tomato based sauce. For desert I had the oranges in Cointreau which were a juicy delight. So nice to see a menu of true Italian dishes and not the modern pizza type choice all served by an Italian family in comfortable and welcoming surroundings. Easy to park too! Would really recommend."

"Excellent all-round family-friendly cafe with an impressive menu range. This includes Halal meat options for those inclined, which is very much appreciated! We’ve always found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating, and appreciated the speed of service. There are also extras such as: phone charging stands, homemade desserts, a variety of soft drinks… I am abregular customer and I have been there alone, with family, and with friends."

"Unless you spend a lot of money! After being customers of Rannah/ was Rischta, for years we decided not to give them our custom anymore.The manager who used to be a very pleasant waiter is now only interested in bigger parties who spend a lot on drink. We don't have huge appetites so didn't spend more than £25/30 a visit. One drink each is enough for us. The last few times he did not even acknowledge us, was too busy fawning over the big drinkers. Then the last visit he was rude to us! He must of forgotten the very large family party we bring in each Christmas.We go to the delightful Sweet Lemon now just down the rd."

"Was recommended by someone to come in to the restaurant so thought we’d give it a try ... After 20mins on waiting around to be served we finally ordered our food , we then sat back down where the freezer was to the right of me and I could see someone pulling food from the freezer(named brands) out with their hands. After waiting a little more people came in to the coffee shop where they sat down , but the previous persons coffee cups had stayed and they were not moved for the whole of the duration of the couple sitting down , no tables were cleaned and other tables had dirty plates on them. There were a couple of cakes , which I witnessed being cut without a glove on and the cake fell into their hand.... A little while later our food came out where the server didn’t know what food he was giving us and went back into the kitchen to shout to the “chef” and ask what is what , while they argued . Our order was wrong and we was asked “what do you want me to do about it , this is what your ordered” when it wasn’t in fact , I felt very intimidated and just said it’s fine leave it. While eating I could see the kitchen and could see the father and son arguing in the kitchen about another issue and were not very quite about it... The food was nice after all but customer service, cleanliness and attitude about the business is all wrong could defo do with some music as it’s very quite and atmosphere isn’t great !"

"Decent price, reasonable portion, the thing that's unusual is no bread or toast in the set breakfast price. Talked into Mem's Special, hidden at the bottom of the menu board, didn't look at it so it arrived third a plate of baked beans, I hate beans with a fry up, so I ate them first and mopped up the sauce with my napkin. My bad, read the menu properly is my advice. The tea is pretty good though."

"This was our first visit to a restaurant since lockdown was eased. We were weary about going, but I had checked the week before and they have put plastic screens up between each table. We sat at our table and were given paper menus. There was actually more choices on the menu. We both had the Reshmi kebabs, which were as good as before lockdown. Our mains were Chicken Shashlic and Chicken Saagwala with side dishes and naan breads. All tasted excellent. The only thing I noticed, I thought the portions were slightly smaller then before lockdown. I noticed from reading some other reviews about the decor. They are in the process of updating this. Did I feel safe in the restaurant. Yes I did and will be back soon"

"Sea bream is one of the best fish and chop shops to go and visit around the area if not in most surrounding areas! Their cod is always fresh and if you’ve not tried their chicken sandwich burger I highly recommend you get down there soon to try it! I came here again yesterday with my dad and the fish we was given was beautiful- no complaints again to Halil and his staff! This is by far the best fish and chips business in south east London."

"I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKED THE FOOD, HOWEVER A MEMBER OF STAFF WAS RUDE WHEN I WAS LEAVING THE STORE, WHICH IS A SHAME BECAUSE NO OTHER MEMBER OF STAFF WAS RUDE. I OPENED THE GLASS DOOR TO GO OUT AND THEN I FELT A HAND ON MY SHOULDER PUSHING ME I TURNED AROUND AND SAW IT WAS A MEMBER OF STAFF I AM NOT SURE WHY HE FELT THE NEED TO PUSH ME WHEN I WAS ALREADY LEAVING THE STORE. IT WAS SO RANDOM I WAS IN SHOCK WHEN HE DID IT, I CAME TO THE STORE WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS WE WERE LEAVING ALREADY THIS MAN STOOD BY THE DOOR AND RUDELY THOUGHT IT WAS HIS DUTY TO USHER THEM OUT. I WAS ACTUALLY THE FIRST PERSON TO MAKE MY WAY TO THE DOOR AND I OPENED IT I WAS JUST ABOUT TO OPEN THE SECOND GLASS DOOR WHICH IS THE EXIT DOOR WHEN I FELT HIS HAND PUSH ME IT WASN'T A HARD PUSH SO I IGNORED IT AND WALKED OUT BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS RUDE NEVERTHELESS, HE ALSO HAD BLACK INDUSTRIAL GLOVES ON I DON'T IF THEY WERE USE IN THE FOOD PREP OR FOR CLEANING, BUT IF THEY WERE HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN TOUCHING ME WITH THEM."

"I looked online locally for a takeaway afternoon tea and found absolutely nowhere near me, except The Chunky Teapot. Having perused the menu it looked as if it would fit the bill, so I e mailed and ordered takeaway afternoon tea for 4. When I popped in to pay I asked for some slight diet variations which they were happy to deal with. My friend collected the food in 2 prettily tied boxes. Upon opening we were delighted to find a really lovely tea vol u vents, mini rolls wraps, giant scones with cream and jam, a wicked slice of cake each and baby macaroons, washed down with a choice of elderflower, raspberry lemonade or rhubarb ginger cordial. Sadly, I my friends ran out of tummy space before we reached the cakes but they looked delicious I'm sure will be eaten up.All of us thoroughly enjoyed our tea, and I'm sure I will order again."

"This is our second time ordering from Moza Spice and it is literally the best Indian takeaway out there. We really enjoyed the dinner. The food is amazing moderately priced. Moza Special Biriyani is the best, it comes with meat, chicken, prawn, mushroom and fried egg on top and it served with a complimentary vegetable curry which is also very tasty. Tandoori chicken is 10/10. Stuffed Porota is also good but would have been better if it’s little softer. But nonetheless food is delicious, generous portions and delivered quickly. Would definitely order again."

We have seen few other restaurants around Bromley do the Buffet but we selected this restaurant as the picture(on the website) provided in Buffet section is tempting and looks like there are many items Actual Experience: When we arrived there, we were shocked. Here is why 1) Less than 11 items in Buffet and that was including Salad items. Here were the items: Here are the items: Starters: a) Salads (too basic) b) Chicken tikka (taste 3 out of 5) c) Lamb sheikh kebab (taste 3 out of 5) d) Onion bhajji (taste cold and soggy so, 2 out of 5) Main Course: a) Naan(plain and dry) and Rice b) Shaag Aloo (taste 3.5 out of 5) c) veg jalfrezi (taste 2 out of 5) d) Chicken tikka masala (taste horrible as an Indian, never seen chicken tikka masala with coconut 0 out of 5) e) Chicken masala (taste 2 out of 5) f) Rogan ghos(lamb) (taste 3.5 out of 5) Dessert: a) Fruits(gapes, pineapple , melons) does it call dessert? "Went here with a couple of friends first we wasn’t going to eat but seeing other people’s food come out we change our minds, ordered food it was piping hot cooked to perfection I asked a member of staff what the cooks name was and the person told me it’s our new manager Stacey in the kitchen, hats off to this new manager I would highly recommend eating here, the drinks were perfect as well such a lovely time will be returning sometime in the new year keep up the great work at the golden lion, me and my mates wish the management and all the best for 2024, be back soon."

"Some days ago, my mother and I dined at Zizzi’s to celebrate her recent career progression. We arrived without prior booking at 5:50pm on a Monday evening, at which point it was quiet and cavernous, with a choice of seating. We ordered the mozzarella garlic bread and fried calamari with aioli, drizzled with lemon for starters, to share. They both arrived promptly and were flavoursome without compromising quantity. Not only, was the mozzarella garlic bread simultaneously crisp yet fluffy, oily and salty, and heated to a pleasant degree. But also, the fried calamari was battered aptly, without sacrificing the quantity of the calamari. Soon after, we were met with our own generous dish of prawn linguini, topped with rocket. The linguini was twirled into a neat formation, with a mix of textures. While, the the tomato sauce was smooth and subtly rich, ample for the multiple hot linguini strips, the shaved courgette added a fine crunch, and the prawns constituted to a meaty density. However, within an hour, the restaurant was almost full, with the multitude of loudening conversations making it difficult to hear. Therefore, I would recommend eating early if you are someone who prefers a quieter experience. Also, although I was a student with a discount card, giving me access to 30% off on that particular instance. It is worthy to note that this is likely to be a somewhat costly evening, if you are someone who will order more than one course, or if you are a family, paying for multiple people."

"Every time I eat in this restaurant I forget what a gem it is. The prices are so reasonable with good size portions and exceptional taste. I have tried many other Indian restaurants in the local area but from now on this is a must for me as it ticks all boxes! I wrote the above last time I was here and didn’t post it (thought I had) but had the urge to comment tonight again as realised what a great experience I have each time I eat here. The ambience is perfect for a mid week meet-up with a friend. Great food, great service, reasonable prices all round. Cannot wait for my next visit as the food was divine!"

"eating was very good, but service slow. my man had the lamb aprons that arrived as 3 instead of 4 when the 4th finally came, he said they were very tasty, but the dish was still small for an adult and for the price! I would say that eating is good, tasty and fresh, but it is over price for what they receive and the equipment of the restaurant is quite dated. After I said all that, I would recommend and probably come back, maybe a statement of this review was accepted."

"I ordered the Battered Cod, which came with chips, tartare sauce, and minted crushed peas for £14.25. Everything was delightful, and the portion sizes were generous. However, I found the Banoffee Pie to be overly sweet, sitting in a pool of caramel sauce, though the pie itself was delicious. We had a toddler with us, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely return, as there’s plenty more on the menu that I’m eager to try!"

"Arrived, parking was a breeze, a little busy but manageable. Waited at the door as instructed to by the sign. No greeting from the front of house, just a very busy staff member acknowledging our presence from the bar stating someone will be right with us shortly. That seemed an eternity, as the waiting queue from other arrivals is nearly out the door. Got a table, which is always a good start. Went to the bar, slight queue for service but nothing to be concerned about, got drinks ordered food. Tickets at the ready goto get our food. No one was being served sweet, got served straight away. Now bearing in mind, I paid extra for a few pigs in blanets, which were average, I have to say. The chef server forgot them twice on both plates. Then, to top it all, the slices of meat cut off were stingy as hell. Veg, no roast potatoes hardly any of the other veg available. Having to wait now for the top ups, which seemed to take an age. Now bearing in mind, I have my thin sliced so-called hot slices of meat already on my plate, i being delayed waiting for veg. Now we get the veg great, lashing of gravy, let's go tuck in. Well, I must say it was lovely. I do hope that next time is a completely different experience."
