"Wir (2 Personen) waren letzte Woche Sonntag zum Mittagessen das erste Mal im Yakamoz ("Yakamoz" heißt lt. Lexikon: "Die Widerspiegelung des Mondes im Wasser"). Wir essen ganz gern mal türkisch und die guten Bewertungen hier taten ihr Übriges. Ein Restaurant mit gleichem Namen und gleicher (?) Speisekarte findet man auch in Hannover in der Goethestraße (vielleicht also ein "Ableger" in BS).Die Räume des Yakamoz in Braunschweig sind sauber und ordentlich. Es gibt die übliche offene Küchentheke (und dadurch auch den üblichen Essengeruch in den Klamotten). WC (Herren) im Obergeschoss war sauber und relativ neu, Damen-WC wurde nicht besucht. An diesem Sonntagmittag waren während unseres Besuchs ungefähr 20 Gäste anwesend - Eltern mit Kindern, Jugendliche, Türken, Deutsche. Die Geräuschkulisse im Lokal war normal bis laut.Laut Speisekarte gibt es Suppen für 3,50 Euro, Frühstück zwischen 6,00 und 7,00 Euro, Salate sowie kalte und warme Vorspeisen (um die 3,00 bis 8,50 Euro) und täglich wechselnde Tagesgerichte für 5,50 Euro. Dazu natürlich die üblichen Döner- und Grillgerichte, Pizzen, Nudeln usw. Einige vegetarische und vegane Gerichte gibt es laut Karte auch.Wir entschieden uns für Iskender Kebap mit Joghurt und Tomatensoße für 9,00 Euro und für den Dönerteller mit Hähnchenfleisch, Reis und Zaziki (Cacik?). Es gab zu beiden Gerichten Salat und Brot. Inklusive Getränken und Trinkgeld bezahlten wir rund 25,00 Euro.Die Kellner schienen nicht so richtig organisiert, waren aber sehr freundlich. Die Portionen waren groß und nicht zu beanstanden. Unser Essen war soweit ok, abgesehen davon, dass uns das Brot nicht schmeckte, der Döner-Kebap für meinen Geschmack etwas mehr Salz brauchte und die Tomaten im Salat jahreszeitlich bedingt auch nicht so toll waren. Gefallen hat uns der türkische Reis. Insgesamt kann man nicht meckern. Lobeshymnen sind aus unserer Sicht allerdings auch nicht angebracht - das Yakamoz ist ein ganz guter türkischer Imbiss wie viele andere auch, nicht mehr und nicht weniger."

"Located close by the the Rathaus, an Asian-restaurant with great food for unbelievably low prices can be found. Quang Anh is tiny, so not a good place for e.g. a date, but for a quick lunch or take away, it's great! The smell in the restaurant makes your mouth water, so does watching the cook preparing your food in front of you. All dishes can be served with meat (chicken, duck, beef) or tofu, so it's a nice place for vegetarians, too. The service is ok, but always quite busy and not a good German speaker. However, the cook always seems very friendly. Perfect place for a quick lunch or take away with authentic Asian food for small prices!"

"I really do love the Schloss Arkaden mall in Braunschweig, with its beautiful castle-like façade and stylish modern interior, and Play-Off is a shining star amidst the restaurants and eateries on offer in the shopping centre. I popped along with my girlfriend in the festive season of 2014 and we almost didn't go in (well, not really 'go in', because the restaurant is plopped quite seamlessly into one of the upper floors) because every single table was taken. This was at 10am in the morning! I've never seen a breakfast eatery so heaving at such a time. Thus, we decided it must be good, and stuck around to grab a table. Once seated at a table which had a glass panel in the middle beneath which was a compartment holding American memorabilia and paraphernalia such as baseball caps and sports almanacs, we were each given a card and a pen. On the card was a list of the food items you can have on your plate for breakfast. Just tick the items you want, and that's it! Your waitress will pick the cards back up, ask you what you'd like to drink, and minutes later you'll have your breakfast in front of you. The options are just what you'd expect: eggs (sunny side up, scrambled, etc.), sausages (delicious ones from Nürnberg), tomatoes, mushrooms, cute little pancakes, and so on. The €8 breakfast gets you unlimited plates — get as many combinations as you fancy! Just ask for a fresh ordering card whenever a waitress passes by. The €10 breakfast gets you that, plus unlimited cups of coffee from a more-than-adequate range, including cappuccino, mocha, hot chocolate (marshmallows!), and so on. Brilliant accompaniment for the breakfast! Then there's the breakfast buffet bar, which took me pleasantly by surprise, and was stocked up with different kinds of bread, spreads and relishes like Nutella and maple syrup, sandwich fillings including various cheeses and salamis, and even cereal and milk dispensers! The buffet bar really completed the experience, and the waitresses walking around with 'jugs of joe' filling people's coffee cups whilst live broadcasts and reruns of sporting events aired on screens around the restaurant really made for that extra-special authentic American atmosphere!"

"Die Einrichtung ist zwar sehr dunkel aber sehr schön. Sehr modern mit netten Kleinigkeiten. Speisekarte ist nicht sehr groß, dafür aber die Wein und Sekt Karte. Die Bedienungen sind höflich, schnell und kennen sich mit Ihren Speisen und Getränken gut aus. Gläser und Teller etwas anders z.B. Kristallgläser, Schieferplatten, Ovale, eckige Teller. Der Tisch ist schön gedeckt. Vorweg gibt es lecker Brot mit Butter, Öl und Salz. Etwas für einen besonderen Abend. Der Geldbeutel sollte aber gut gefüllt sein. Was ich nicht so schön fand war, das die Kellner mehr im Freizeitloock bedienten (Jeanshose mit Hintern in Kniekele) das ist dem Ambiente und gehobenen Preisen nicht annehmbar. Man sollte dann wenigsten ein Schürze tragen. Der Rotwein war eindeutig zu warm und wurde nicht dekantiert. Wenn man mal etwas besonderes machen will kann ich dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen"

"It was a bit crowded so a table for one was sparse. Service was fast and efficiënt as expected. Had a pizza and it was oké, had better in history, pasta might be a better option. Reason I went here is the quick and easy...order and pay system with the personal pas; when you arrive you must get your one pas, then you can order what you like at the different stations and what you take will be registered on your pas. When youre done you return your pas at the exit and pay the registered costs at the cashier. No waiters or tipping or are obligatory stuff involved"

"we had luck when we arrived on a busy Saturday night and were hired in cash. we asked the waiter to inform us if a table should be free and so he did it. beautiful ambiente and smiling waiter and waiter, though. it took a long time before we were served our drinks. we ordered 2 appetizers, aubergine with dressing and feta cheese. very good. as far as the net is concerned, we both ordered salmon. as a norweger I was not very impressed. it could have been a fresh laugh, but as it was cooked, it had a very strange taste. I think it was cooking oil because it was almost like roasted and it was a stranger after the taste. the sweet was really good and it also came with a beautiful, small salad. all in all a ok dinner, but I wish they had more on the menu for people who don't eat meat, but enjoy fish and seafood. by looking at the menu they had a lot of vegetarian options."

"The China restaurant imisergarten is available for several years. it is located in the same house, in which there is also real purchase (from the parking lot seen on the right side, accessible by a separate outside entrance or directly from inside in the building in front of the real purchase information). the location of the restaurant is certainly not the most beautiful. this is also the only small point of criticism. you can get in the imperial garden quickly after shopping, sit comfortably and eat delicious. we are usually once a month to the lunch table (buffet, all-you-can-eat) in the imperial garden, last today on 06.02.2016. the buffet for 7,50 euro consists of day soup, rice, bratreis, roasted noodles, rösti or croquettes and various meat and fish dishes with or without sauce (huhn, duck, bark, black, fried fish, fried leber). there are fried vegetables, tasty champignons, small early rolls, wan-tans. peanut and other sauces are ready. the tables vary from the usual types of ice to baked bananas and pineapple. ach, yes, there is also a small salat buffet - who wants can also find sushi here. I hope I didn't forget too much. the selection is therefore rich, it is quickly and regularly updated. the quality is always very good at lunchtime. some might have liked to have a bit more sweet and less fritted - but that's fine. I can't say anything to the evening buffet.The services are always fast, intrusive, very binding and very friendly. the restaurant is usually very well visited and always clean and tidy. There is nothing to complain about the sanitary facilities.We have had a bill of 19.40 euro for 2 x buffet, a 0.3 l cola and a 0.25 l mineral water today. there is nothing to complain about in the selection and quality. it has tasted very good as always. a thick lob the service and of course the kitchen."

"Wir waren heute hier zum ersten mal, da wird das Lokal in einem kleinen Restaurantführer gesehen haben.Interessante Speisekarte mit frischen Nudeln, leckeren Fleisch und Gemüsegerichten und Pizza.Auch die Nachspeisen waren sehr gut und liebevollangerichtet.Das eindeutig italienische Personal war ein wenig chaotisch, da wurde auch schon mal was verwechselt und vergessen, aber es wurde sofort geändert oder nachgebracht.Es ist recht klein aber nicht eng. Parkplätze gibt es ein paar hinterm Haus."

"Just a disaster. This branch should avoid you urgently unless you want to wait for half an hour for cold burgers and deadly fried pommes. During my last and really last visit, I said and don't write food for 20 minutes. Orders are piled without end. The other customers were all already extremely annoyed, understandably! "Nach Neugestaltung der Gasträume hat sich hier eine sehr nette Lokalität mit griechischem Tavernenquarakter entwickelt.Der Pächter legt großen Wert auf Qualität und ist supernett. "Wenn man beim Shoppen hungrig wird und nicht gleich groß und zeitaufwendig Essen gehen möchte, kann man Haiky empfehlen.Eine überschaubare Karte mit wechselnden Tagesangeboten bietet für sogar für Vegetarier etwas.Gemüse wird frisch zubereitet und ist knackig, es ist nicht gerade "feine Küche", was geboten wird, aber man wird für kleines Geld gut satt und hat nicht das Gefühl, sich mit Kalorien vollgestopft zu haben.Da die Zubereitung schnell geht und Sitzplätze reichlich vorhanden sind, ist man ohne Hektik schnell "on the road again".Großes Manko: keine eigenen Toiletten, man quer durchs Haus , um die (kostenpflichtigen) Toiletten des Shopping-Centers aufzusuchen"

"the overland welcomes every guest with a 2x2m fresko by tim mälzer. also the rest of the evening reminded of a restaurant visit in the “Kitchen Impossible”. very ok, but never really good or suitable for the claim. the restaurant is tastefully decorated without asking and has a great ambiente. the waiters edit a manageable number of tables and still look sluggish. dressed in black, they still look elegant and modern until they see the dirty shoes. the main course was really good, we had “Ochsenbacken auf Polenta” the butter species and really only very small bone fragments in the meat. when dessert came my wife to her cost with a “white brownie” that was really fantastic! and I? I have a cold “Creme Brulee” with hot crust for 12€. Conclusion: the evening was solid, but did not reach our expectations set by environment and price list!"

"the iiban is another sushi restaurant. beside the Norman order, at all they can eat is simply ordered by ipad. they can order five sushi every 15 minutes, each of which is between 1-4 pieces. the time has expired, can be ordered new. why this time limit for me is still unclear, but it was never disturbing, because one was busy with eating or looking for the new food. so you had no waiting time. the complex is very modern and since the restauran was in the first stage, you have a super view over the boulevard. the foods are not so cheap, but super unusual and very tasty. even they can eat is still to say that each lying sushi piece costs another euro because they do not want to order too much. not only the concept really convinced me, especially the tasty sushi. of therefore despite the somewhat high price (all they can eat approx. 20€ super recommended."

"Wir bestellen immer wieder bei smileys unsere Pizzen. Der Titel "Lecker, wenn gelungen" beschreibt es sehr zutreffend. Immer wieder bekommen wir verbrannte Pizzen, oder kalte, oder nicht das, was wir bestellt haben. Aber man muss sagen, der Preis ist okay und auf Beschwerden via Telefon wird angemessen reagiert. Croque und Pizza sind unsere Favoriten und echt lecker. Schade, das der im FLIPS-Heft angekündigte Gutschein nicht akzeptiert wird, nur weil der Besitzer gewechselt ist. Dieses halbe Jahr Gutschein-Laufzeit hätte man wohl lieber hinnehmen sollen, als viele Kunden zu verärgern. Meinen erfahrungen nach ist das FLIPS-Heft sogar sehr positiv für die Gastronomen- da diese eine hohe Reichweite haben und beste Werbung sind. Ein verweilen vor Ort empfehle ich nicht- hier stehen auf 5qm 2 weiße (immer!) Klebrige Stehtische und 1 Zigarettenautomat. Als Tresen dient eine nicht verkleidete Kühltruhe."

"Vinimos por el brunch de suércoles. Inicio temprano y rápidamente llenando en una mañana soleada. El buffet era muy diverso y acogedor. Lamentablemente, parece más cerca, encontramos que el precio barato mostró sus resultados en la comida y las bebidas. Artial, mozzarella industrial, huevos revueltos ... hechos de polvo, diluido jugo de naranja, etc. Hizo que el precio sea atractivo pero no la comida. Servicio bastante caótico con al menos camareros que aparecen. Al menos un buen lugar para observar a las personas extrañas y la multitud ruidosa en las calles. Intentaremos al vecino la próxima vez."
