"There was a large group of us, so we expected a bit of a wait, we arrived at 1.30 for our table, it was extremely busy, but again that was ok, the poor guy serving behind the bar deserved a medal, his name was Ashley, he was manning the bar alone taking food orders and serving drinks, , and during our visit he was waiting on tables too.. he took our orders, was extremely efficient and went through them all, unfortunately after all our meals had been brought out my husband was still waiting, and was still waiting after we had finished, he decided he didn’t want to be eating alone so requested a refund, they also bought his food to him in a take out box, our food on the whole was all ok considering there was 24 of us, the lack of staff was a huge problem, felt so sorry for the guy behind the bar (Ashley) I’m sure under such pressure to keep the place running I would have definitely walked but he served.. waited on the tables and still managed to provide lovely customer service, we only saw one other waitress, and the manager after a while , they need a big pat on the back working under pressure with skeleton staff Kid-friendliness: Always good for kids, plenty of room and outside space"
