"Good food and service overall, though not the best Chinese restaurant I have tried in Geneva. The crab and asparagus soup was a bit salty for my taste. The little juicy buns were not that juicy; the skin was a bit too thick; and they were served with soy sauce not vinegar, which for me is a must for juicy buns. But the eggplant casserole was very good, though a bit oily, but very tasty. Tea was served in a mug than in a pot. Overall experience was good."

"My husband and I visited for lunch. We ate there many years ago and it was lovely. Unfortunately this time the food was very disappointing. My starter of burata has a thick skin. The Brocollini and green beans had been overcooked and there was no flavoured sauce to accompany it such as balsamic etc. I ordered the fish for main, the fish was cooked okay, however again very bland, no seasoning and overcooked green vegetables again. There was a sauce provided however I'm not sure what it was as I could not taste anything, it had absolutely no flavour. The service was nice, the staff were friendly and accommodating providing blankets in the cold weather. I also liked how they were flexible and provided me with affagato after my meal. I believe the quality of produce is good, but better attention needs to be paid to the seasoning and cooking of the food. I am actually curious if the chef was absent this evening and a trainee was instead on. If I had this information I would perhaps return again, if the head chef is responsible absolutely not i am afraid."

"the first time at this place and I expected a little more. pizzas are beautiful, especially the crust that is very light. the staff is friendly but almost completely absent, as the pizzeria is located in another room from the main restaurant. the ambiente is very quiet, with the pizzaiolo right next to them make the pizza, I felt very comfortable. maybe a lounge music would be a good addition to this room."

"There should be a level above excellent! When you arrive, a really genuine warm greeting, you are an individual coming to share in the meal experience. Then when seated you start hearing the great music, you start feeling the atmosphere from all the other guests and your hosts for the evening. While drinking a great white wine and munching on those great toasted corn, you read through the menu and find your delight. Mine was the Petite fondue de Camembert, filet d’huile parfumée à la truffe noire et mouillettes de pomme de terre vapeur, followed by Souris d’agneau aux dates et dal de lentilles vertes, to help my diet I had a Tarte Tatin et crème de la Gruyère. All accompanied by a great red wine recommended by our brilliant host. I could not have had a better experience, looking forward to going back in January, especially when they have their evenings with live music."

"Nous nous sommes rendus en famille au Kudeta hier soir et n'avons vraiment pas été déçus... hormis en bien !Les produits respirent la qualités et la fraicheur tant la viande que les poissons.La terrasse est très agréable et le personnel est fort sympathique et professionnel et sera à coup sur vous conseiller de la meilleure manière. A relevé, une magnifique carte des vins et mentions spéciales pour le tataki de boeuf et le vitello tonato qui est pour sa part extrêmement bien revisité. Sans oublier les moules qui sont en provenance directe du Mont-St-Michel ce qui est relativement rare à Genève et cela fait toute la différence.A découvrir absolument."

"Nous n'avons même pas eu le temps de nous asseoir... Nous étions 6 adultes 3 enfants et une poussette. Apparemment, ce restaurant n'accepte pas les poussettes, puisque dès notre arrivée, alors que le restaurant était vide, on nous balade à travers les 150m2, en nous faisant bien sentir que nous étions de trop. Goutte d'eau, lorsque l'on nous place enfin, le maître de salle, qui a été malpoli dès le départ, enlève l'une des tables "parce que les enfants ça se serre dans un coin". C'est scandaleux d'avoir à assister à ce type de réaction en 2017, nous avons bien senti, Monsieur, que lorsque l'on a des enfants il faut rester à la maison! Pittoyable!Las de devoir s'excuser à chaque mouvement, nous avons quitté les lieux."

"For Geneva the prices are quite good and the portions are big. We ordered the usual things we order in other Chinese restaurants or similar. FREE krupuk Cantonese fried rice prawns on a sizzling plate crispy beef sweet and sour chicken I like the plate warmers they were served on because everything was kept warm as we ate. Large portions so we had a lot left over to take home for another 2 meals for 3 people. I really enjoyed our lunch and how much we paid the amount of takeaway. We don’t say this often as Asians eating Asian food in Europe."

"Super endroit industriel et branché pour aller boire l’apéro, bon cocktails, buffet de bruschetta variées offertes durant l’heure de l’apéro.Par contre, dès 19h, bien qu’étant 3 copines en train de boire l’apéro, on vient vous demander sans arrêt si vous avez choisi pour la suite... et tout au cours du repas, par ailleurs excellent, on s’est sentie « pressée » par le temps,...À 22.15 nous terminions tranquillement le fromage, et comme il ne restait plus que 2-3 tables occupées, on nous pressais pour débarrasser la table... nous avons alors demander 3 espresso mais.... impossible de les obtenir, la machine à café étant apparemment déjà la lavée par du désinfectant !!!!! Jamais entendu ça ailleurs.... mais bon, vraisemblablement, l’équipe avait envie de rentrer se coucher,.... nous sommes donc partie boire notre café dans un restaurant voisin qui nous l’a servi avec une grande gentillesse .... pas très commerçant et tout ça.... Austère Genève....."

"L’établissement se trouve au nord de Carouge non loin du pont de Carouge. Il y a un arrêt de tram au nord-ouest depuis lequel il faut marcher 4-5 minutes à pied. De l’extérieur, le restaurant ne paye pas de mine et ressemble plus à la Vieille-Ville comme les constructions du coin. L’intérieur est plus actuel (excepté le carrelage) avec des murs et parois en bois. Les petites tables, carrées ou rondes, sont aussi en bois de même que les chaises mais avec des coussins d’assises pour plus de confort. La nappe et le set sont plutôt joli. Il y a une douce musique zen pour l’ambiance. Par contre, l’éclairage est plutôt faible.Le jeune serveur asiatique, qui portait des lunettes, s’est bien occupé de moi. Il souriait tout le temps et expliquait bien la composition de leurs plats. La carte est bien fournie et propose diverses variétés où chacun y trouvera ce qui lui convient (pour le dessert, je ne peux pas le confirmer). Les tarifs sont corrects pour les entrées. En revanche, pour les plats principaux c’est plus dans la moyenne de Genève (entre 25 et 30 francs). Cela dit, le soir il y a deux menus à un prix intéressant. Le premier est le menu succulence pour 2 personnes à 60 qui comprend un potage, un grand plateau d’entrée diverses, 2 plats principaux un accompagnement et enfin un dessert. Le deuxième est le menu dégustation pour 1 personne à 48 francs.C’est justement ce dernier que j’ai choisi. Tout d’abord on commence gentiment avec un petit potage tom yam au poulet. Ensuite, une bonne petite salade de vermicelles avec 2 très bons raviolis frits. Pour le plat principal, il y a le choix entre le bœuf au curry masaman, le poulet à la sauce sawa et le poisson au curry vert. J’ai décidé de prendre le bœuf au curry masaman qui comprenait également un simple bol de riz blanc en accompagnement et c’était excellent. La sauce au curry était simplement délicieux et a fait toute la différence. Pour finir, une bonne rondelle de beignet d’ananas. Pourtant je n’aime pas l’ananas, mais ça passait bien avec la friture et le sirop."

"Je me suis rendu avec un ami au restaurant Le Jade avec le passeport gourmand Genève 2020.Jai beaucoup apprécié l'accueil ainsi que les plats proposés. Il y a un large choix d'entrée/plats. Nous avons pris une soupe, une entrée vapeur et un plat, mon ami est végétarien et à trouvé ça plutôt bon même si il manquait un peu de goût pour son plat. En tant que non végétarien, j'ai adoré. Rien à redire sur la qualité ainsi que la quantité.Le service est rapide et attentionné, je n'ai pas vraiment de points négatifs mise appart la disponibilité des desserts (glaces maison). Il faut bien que je trouve quelque chose .Je conseil vivement d'aller manger à ce restaurant si vous cherchez des plats généreux et de bonne qualité."

"On y va souvent manger depuis qu'il y a une nouvelle gérance. très jolie terrasse, coin de jeux pour enfants. c'est une brasserie donc vous pouvez acheter des bouteilles de 4 sortes me semble t'il de bière. on y a manger un très bon plat de pâtes bien cuite al dente , des calamars frits d'une pâte a frire fines croustillante, des calamars coupé en 2 ce qui changent des rondelles dur et congelé d'autres lieux. Leurs frites sont épaisses et servie très chaudes j'adore.la viande est bien cuites , les pizza sont excellente.le service est rapide et les jeunes filles souriantes pleines de peps. J'ai pu a 2 reprises remporter mes pâtes à la maison doggybag accepter."

"Great sushi fantastic actually but every ! time we order something goes wrong, late wrong order etc. Tonight at my pick up the salads were forgotten. I called and had to go back to the restaurant. Answer was that the lady was pretty sure she gave it to me. They were standing in front of her! Happy for the gesture ice cream thank you! but at times a sincere apology for inconveniences would help. I am sorry for having been annoyed but it’s literally every time. I will be back for the sushi, I will check everything there. I will not go for the service."

"The service was mediocre and the food was tasty enough (not superb). The real problem with this restaurant is that we booked with a valid Assiette Genevoise card and the restaurant refused to honor it based on some condition that they have with Assiette Genevoise (which is not publicized). This was not explained to us when we arrived at the restaurant and when we told our waitress that we had an Assiette Genevoise card. We were expecting to receive our right to 50% off of the bill. Instead when the bill came, we were only told then that the restaurant would not honor our card because our card was blue and not pink. This was unacceptable because this should have been discussed with us when we arrived, not after we finished our meal. We will never visit this place again. We believe in supporting Geneva restaurants as we eat out quite frequently and we entertain business associates and guests quite frequently. We are also generous when we eat out, consuming much alcohol, ordering entrees, and plats principales, and desserts. But we expect the restaurant to honor its end of the bargain as well. Not fair."

"Das Lokal verfügt über einen Freisitz auf der Straße, mit schönem Blick auf den Platz. Im Meenü haben ein Sandwich mit Merguez und ein 0,5 Getränk 13,50 Franken gekostet, scheint der ortsübliche Preis zu sein. Knoblauchssuce und Chilli wurden in seperaten Gefäßen gebracht. "This a surprisingly friendly and tasty place. The owner is very enthusiastic and every dish is personally made on the spot. The dishes are delicious and have huge portions. For example, they cooked the seafood spaghetti in a whole pot and after we finished one dish and they gave us the remaining from the pot and we are all surprised. All over all, it is a very pleasant experience for the 1st lunch in Geneva!!"

"An order was placed on Uber Eat. This was canceled by the restaurant and I was still billed for the order. I call the restaurant to find out why my order was canceled, I am told that the basket is not expensive enough even though there is no minimum order amount. They tell me that they are not responsible for the money but it is they who caused this situation with the cancellation. The restaurant doesn 't care about the situation and takes the blame to Uber Eat. To flee."

"This has to be the worst service not only slow, but rude. Our pizza took more than an hour. Four other tables sat around us after we sat down. They were served way before us and finished eating not only dinner but they finished...dessert before we were served our pizza. The pizza was just ok. But, even asking for whether it was coming was met with rude “it’s coming”. No apologies no acknowledgement. We would have left but needed to pay for our drinks and the request for the check, I’m sure would have taken as long. This place gets zero for service and maybe a 2 for pizza (and that’s being generous). Eat somewhere else. Don’t wast your time here. So many great places to eat anywhere else but here."

"It doesn't happen very often to comment how passionate the staff of a restaurant is about their work. This was the case at L'Aigle d'Or where the chef and the waitress alike had that special shine ('rayonnement ') of those who take genuine pleasure and shine in delivering a great dining experience to their guests. The menu offers plenty of choice, but in the great tradition of authentic cooking the kitchen will try and accommodate any request you may have: add this, remove that, cook something completely different for the kids. The use of high quality ingredients helps the end result: the Peruvian ceviche was excellent and such a simple dish doesn't lie. Same for the bouillon: an un-glamorous home made vegetablem consommé which we were talking about the day after, still.Deserts were equally excellent and the service was something special.Highly recommended."
