Amazing food, balanced tastes and textures, perfect portions by generous chef bravo! Highly recommended!!!

We had both a Fish main course, me the Cabillaud, and it does not only look fantastic it also tastes absolutely excellent! Well, light flavoured and perfectly a point!And the service staff was really kind, flexible for changes in the menu and even helpful with the Tram connection :-)A really nice dinner we had!

Found this restaurant by accident and later a friend who lives in Geneva said it was known to be outstanding. If the weather is nice, eat outside - it's pleasant and the street is quiet.The food was really good, the service friendly and efficient. Portions were uncharacteristically large (I had to take some of my cold roast beef home, a rarity in Europe). The tuna carpaccio was wonderful. Ver carta

First visit. A Friday evening. All tables occupied. Pleasant and cozy brasserie atmosphere. Friendly, attentive and efficient service. We chose the chateaubriand for two and we were able to order two different sauces and cooking times. The meat was done to perfection and accompanied by a delicious fresh salad and match-stick fries, all in copious portions. The prices were beyond "mid-range", especially the wine, which is quite common in many restaurants in Geneva these days.

Your meat will be grilled in the huge fireplace. Fantastic quality and service.Sebastien is a lover of special peppers, he will help you choose a sauce matching your meat and your taste. A great selection of wines is available.Welcoming terrasse, just one street away from the traffic, you will spend a wonderful time.The 2 men running the place have beenworking for years in the nicest brasserie of carouge / marché, and you will make no mistake trying booking a table at la Huchette !

This restaurant changed owners about two years ago and took off since. In the summer there is space outside, on the inside it's unassuming but cosy - almost like eating in someone's living room. I've been here multiple times and can only recommend it. Starter: Ravioli filled with foie gras, delicous Main: Entrecote, fries and pepper sauce. Most of their meat is grilled over open fire, a number of sauces to chose from. Dessert: ice cream - very good, not spectacular but others ordered more sophisticated desserts which I had a scoop of and it held same high standard. Ver carta

We had dinner for four with 2 apéros, 2 entrées (Os à moëlle and Vitello thuna fish) and 4 main courses (Filet de perches, Souris d'agneau, Ris de veau, Coquelet à l' Harissa) with a bottle of red swiss wine (Swiss francs 43.-) (Geneva) topped with 2 expresso café. Total swiss francs 294.--The food was good and service friendly. Still prices in Switzerland are very high and the ratio price/quality not in favour of the local industry. The recent appreciation of Swiss Francs versus Euro makes it a real challenge for such restaurants to compete. The place is nicely decorated and noise level is OK when not full.

On our last full day in Geneva, we took a trip out to the suburb of Carouge - well worth a visit to walk around. We walked past this place, it looked really nice so we took a chance and booked for our last dinner of our holiday - good call by us!The service was top notch, the food was fine dining, and the meal although pricey was value for what we got (£370 for 6 people - 6 aperitifs, 6 starters, 6 mains, 3 bottles of wine and 3 puddings).There is a big open fire in the corner of the restaurant, which is used to cook big juicy steaks. There were also some delicious fish starters using 'fera' a fish local to Lake Geneva. If I was ever back in Geneva, I would seek this place out without hesita...

The service was mediocre and the food was tasty enough (not superb). The real problem with this restaurant is that we booked with a valid Assiette Genevoise card and the restaurant refused to honor it based on some condition that they have with Assiette Genevoise (which is not publicized). This was not explained to us when we arrived at the restaurant and when we told our waitress that we had an Assiette Genevoise card. We were expecting to receive our right to 50% off of the bill. Instead when the bill came, we were only told then that the restaurant would not honor our card because our card was blue and not pink.
