"My husband and I had a wonderful lunch in Pan Pist. The food was fresh, inventive and beautifully prepared. I had a beautiful salad with impeccably fresh green, fiore, raspberries, blueberries for pops of color with the heartpiece Burrata with anchovies, in a thin crunchy bowl. Wonderfully inventive and a pleasure to eat and see. My husband had porcini mushrooms served in a rich cheese sauce hot cake. My secondi piati was a hearty stew with an interesting mix of peas, Garbanzo beans, Cannellini beans, Lupini beans, barlotti beans, green beans, onions, tiny chops of zucchini, carrots and more. My husband had the Gnocchetti in a rich tomato sauce that we think is Gorgonzola. Great! The trio of Sorbetti (Pistachio, hazelnuts and blood orange) was a refreshing dagger we shared. Our beautiful server (Clark) spoke good English and was very helpful to us. The owner/cook who did not speak much English was warm, friendly and welcoming. There was a big party in front of the restaurant with a family birthday party, and we can see why they chose this lovely restaurant to celebrate a special family celebration."
