"we ate outside on a quiet Tuesday evening on a warm evening and enjoyed the swallows that hunt around the place while waiting for our food. we received a cordial greeting and enjoyed the good food (we had both the fruity tajine,...one with chicken and one with meatballs), a selection of small cakes to share and half a liter wein, all for 30 euro. splendid!"

"Despite the perhaps somewhat pretentious first impressions of this place, the pricing at least of the set menus is quite reasonable and the value for money is quite good. I had the basic Menu Colbert at Euro 22.50, sitting outside as the weather was pleasant. Each of the courses was well presented and the food was quite nice, without being particularly outstanding. A good, basic selection, properly prepared and presented. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Wine by the glass (Eur 3) perfectly drinkable. Now if only they were open on Sunday for dinner (pretty much everything is closed on Sunday in Chatellerault)."

"Nice frame and menu, rather generous plate, it's very good. On the other hand, there are points to be improved: no indication of aperitif, no price, simply cocktails, no information about classic aperitives. not necessarily suitable for children, we paid the menu price for a rather simple dessert (one ice ball for one and one strawberry plate for the other)."

"I have eaten in this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The buffet provides a good choice varying from French to Asian food to cater for all tastes. The price is all-inclusive a buffet as much as you can eat (including deserts)....Drinks are also included (wine, beers, sodas, water, coffee). For people coming off the motorway, it is just minutes away, and also very conveniently situated near the commercial area. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are welcoming. A special pricing system is in place for children and high chairs are available."

"Went here with family including an month old baby. Several of the party had the pizzas which were Ok and cheap enough but nothing special. I ordered penne Bolognese which was poor and there wasn't enough meat in the sauce. I asked for a...very small portion of spaghetti Bolognese for the baby but was shown the child menu of meal, drink dessert at euros. I said no thanks as it was obvious it was no good for the baby. The waiter said OK I will do a spaghetti Bolognese on its own. When it came it was tagliatelle and a smaller portion to mine. We paid the bill but didn't realise until after we had left that the baby portion' had been charged as a normal portion of spaghetti Bolognese at euros We might as well have ordered the child menu. Will probably avoid in the future."

"Big disappointment for my visit to this establishment. Inputs to dishes are pretty good, and the staff is very pleasant. But at dessert it is the catastrophe! My 6-year-old nephew receives in dessert a sugar pancake that he tries to finish because it is “not good”. We are two adults to taste: it smells cheese and has no taste. When it is removed: horror, crêpe is mold and covered with green mushrooms... When at my own dessert, a meringrated lemon pie, it is badly frozen and not fresh: the center is hard and frozen while the top is hot... The crêpe is discreetly returned to the kitchen and my nephew receives ice instead, but it is still unthinkable to serve outdated food to customers, even more to children. The mistake is human, but check out your kitchens and your expiry dates as it is the health of your customers."

"Grâce à Google Maps, nous avons trouvé ce restaurant bien noté, sur la route de retour vers notre maison. Sa bonne note est méritée car l'accueil est chaleureux malgré les nombreux clients, le service est rapide et le repas que nous avons choisi sur l'ardoise , entrée plat pour 16 euros ce midi, nous a régalé. Bravo au chef, tout était très bon. Merci beaucoup. Food: 5"

"We came to have a drink and a board. Nothing to say about it, and the place is very nice. having arrived early we were not served by the young waitress and waitress who arrived later, but they were very pleasant and attentive when we had a request or to ask us if we needed something. However we cannot say the same thing of the lady who served us at the beginning: no hello, we turn our back on our arrival.
