"I don't like giving low scores on this but feel I should for this place. We had a pint of Peroni which tasted bad so took it back. The lady behind the bar said she didnt think it was off whilst looking at us like we were lying! She then poured herself a sip, tasted it and said it was fine. She did switch it for a different beer in the end but I wouldn't ever go back. If that beer wasn't off, the glass was gross or something. I've been drinking peroni for years and that 100% wasn't right. Only saving grace was that the locals were nice and they allow dogs."

"I would drive 50+ miles like I did the one time I ate here every week. That’s how good it was! The food was amazing, great portions and the service just as good. Left a generous time and kept the service charge as the experience was that good. Staff there looked after myself and my girlfriend on my birthday and the food came out quickly, fresh and was beautifully tasting. I cannot stress enough to people how good this place is, I can’t wait to visit again when I get the opportunity."

"Absolutely love this pub, we have just bought a lodge in the area and luckily found this gem. We eat here for Sunday lunch and cannot fault it. The food is cooked to perfection with a good selection of meat snd vegetables. The staff are all lovely and nothing to much trouble. I totally recommend this pub."
