"first and completely enthusiastic. great ambiente and exceptional offer of drinks, dips and small things to take. we had a mixed dish with everything and it was all super delicious. the service has also very nicely explained to us everything that deserves on the teller. as main dish we had the spare ribs and a panini with goat cheese. of the pleasure of the spare rib even today, a few days later, still. also the panini and the salat to the rippchen were really good. to the dessert there was a rhabarber crumble with vanille eis and a homemade limonade, both a dream for the palate. the personal was unobtrusively attentive and we had the feeling to be earned personally. we haven't taken up so exceptionally well for a long time and felt so comfortable. thanks to the team for this great evening! "At that time it was said: A new Thai is coming to the Burger Brewery! Pffff.... Well, again one who wants to make one on authentic with Glutamat and as a Chinese makes on light Asian cuisine. Like that, the curiosity always prevails. Especially when it comes to food. Location: on a main road, there is also a bike path in front of the house. Parking? Nuja, you can... Behind the snack there is a parking possibility. To quickly pick up enough, unfortunately too little for a local. But, that's also not the destiny of Thai Jaa. Unfortunately, there are only a few steps to go. However, if you are unable to dispense with food with a walking disability or in a wheelchair, you can notice the side to the small dining garden. This is where the window is helped. There are no toilets, because snacks! Despite the few seats in the restaurant. These have recently been extended by a table so that about 10 seats in the local area and about 20 are available in front of the local (under a mobile tent roof). The map has 30 different basic dishes to offer. Each with an individual taste, in addition, can be chosen among three meat types that bring the price to 5,90 € per serving: pig, chicken, beef. two other varieties; Yarn and goose cost two euros. Fair prices given the portions that come to the customer. Well, I've never been to Thailand before, but if a Thai woman offers food as authentic and cooks with love and fresh. What do I want? The food is always freshly prepared, in front of the customer's eyes, with fresh ingredients. I don't know how many times I've been to Thai Jaa, whether it's for pick-up or to take a snack there quickly, I didn't even catch a meal that doesn't taste me. And also my many companions, whom I took, never came over the lips. Amendments will be made without any discussion. However, what is also due to the fact that no finished mixtures are intertwined. I have the full score. Call, pick up, let them convince."

"Hello! Coburg seems to have it all now – especially, since this amazing Sushi Restaurant opened! The owner and sushi chefs made this restaurant very special and show the uncompromised and pure sushi making at its best. The SushiBar is nicely renovated with a freshened up, clean interior. The visual impression invites to have lunch or dinner in the small but beautiful arranged dining room on the upper floor. On the first floor is the small kitchen and sushi bar where usually two chefs prepare sushi very fresh. Here you can also wait for your take-out. There is no seating on the first floor/entrance. The interior is kept in darker colors with inviting, comfortable lighting. The sound level is pleasantly quiet with just a bit of music in the background. The restaurant offers sake, wine and beer and a small selection of soft drinks and rice tea. I like that the main focus of the restaurant is the food and nothing distracts the attention from it. One feels like eating in a somewhat peaceful sanctuary and eat in a pure and clean environment. Pictures below is the entrance area. You will find not too many fancy rolls which I loved. These chefs to not play around with too much seasoning and adding too much in addition. You will also enjoy classic japanese-style portions and be served pickled ginger and wasabi with your choice of sushi. You have the opportunity to order pre-set combinations or à la carte. If you order the pre-set combination, the chef chooses: however, as a sushi lover, you will not be disappointed. The sushi tastes very fresh and has rich flavor. I loved the texture of the chewy squid and of course the salmon and tuna sashimi. The sashimi felt like it is melting in my mouth. I closed my eyes several times as I ate, simply concentrating on this exquisite flavor sensations. I concentrated solely on the experience of eating. The Menu You will find different choices of Nigiri, Maki and Ura Maki. Also, a variety of appetizers, salads (I highly recommend their seaweed salad with soy , soups (from the rational Miso-soup to Ramen! , Bento Box (just for lunch and desserts. I did not try a dessert but they are kept pretty light. From rice cake to green-tea ice-cream – you will find the perfect choice to round up the meal. SushiBar also offers Take-out: Only Sushi and salads! The only items I missed were sea urchin and edamame. SushiBar is definitely a place I will visit again. Maybe the next time for lunch to try a Bento Box. The personnel is very friendly and make your stay at the restaurant special. The chef is able to transform simple ingredients into an extraordinary meal at this warm and friendly place. Credit Cards: All major credit cards accepted. Price Range: It is recommended to make reservations for dinner. SUSHI BAR Badergasse 3 96450 Coburg Tel: 09561.427399-8 Open from Monday – Saturday, 11am-10pm. Closed on Sunday"

Asia Inn

"On the day before Christmas Eve I still hadn't had all Christmas gifts together and so I had to go back to Coburg city centre. I had planned to take my lunch in Maccaroni. The Maccaroni is a prestigious Italian in Coburg, who had also rated our valued writer colleague Huck at his Coburg visit with 5 stars. I had never visited the Maccaroni before and will not be able to visit it anymore, as the Maccaroni closes its doors at the end of 2015. When I stood in front of the Maccaroni, I became aware of a note at the entrance that the Maccaroni had opened in the evening, unlike usual. And so I had to redispose. The relatively new Asian fell in the pedestrian zone, in the Steinweg. During the day the Steinweg is a shopping, but at night Coburg's Party Mile No. 1. The Asian snack was recently recommended by a buddy. This was twice a guest there, but both times only had the Sauer Scharf soup, more familiar to me under the name of Beijing soup, at the price of 2.50 euros. According to him the best soup he could ever enjoy at an Asian. The Asia Inn makes a relatively unspectacular impression from the outside. The action courts were attached to the large glass front. I especially spoke to the dish A5 on crispy duck on Brat noodles or Brat rice, with sweet-saur sauce at the price 6.50 euros. For an additional euro, you could upgrade your action dish with a 0.2L soft drink. When I looked inside wafr it was around 12.15 hrs the Asia Inn was completely empty. I decided to keep an eye out for presenters beforehand in a nearby clothing business. After a maximum of 20 minutes I returned to the Asia Inn and was amazed. The place with an estimated 40 seats was completely occupied up to a table for 2 persons. Then I took this free table in a fitting by hanging my jacket over the chair rest. Then I had to move to the safe, because only there you can place your order. And there I had to pay. The Asian woman behind the vault greeted me kindly and asked for my food request. I had already made my choice in advance. On request, I chose the Brat noodles as a supplement and chose a Cola as a drink. Then I was allowed to take a seat as the food was taken to the guest's table. While I was waiting, I watched the three chefs a little while working. Because the Asia Inn has an open kitchen. Despite this, it smells very pleasant in the restaurant and not according to the typical snack smell. Furthermore, the restaurant is very bright and modern, which is due to the fact that the Asia Inn only exists a short year. I liked the facility. Cleanliness in the guest room was also top, I didn't pick up the toilets. During my stay there were also numerous customers who took their food. So the employees were all good to do. Food and drink were served wordless after not even ten minutes. Too bad, a good appetizer or the like, I would have found a friendly and also appropriate. The glass was filled to the edge, so it almost flooded. The food was steaming hot. A large portion of crispy fried duck lay on a handsome bunch of fried noodles. In addition, a stick of sweet-saur sauce. I would have liked a little more of the sauce that was a bit too sharp to me personally. The skin of the duck was crispy pink, the meat was wonderfully tender and in no place with a layer of fat. One of the best crispy ducks I was allowed to eat so far. The fried noodles were enriched with the usual vegetables and also very and so I was only a little sad at the end that I did not enjoy eating at Maccaroni. Funny, the owner of the Maccaroni was also a guest at the Asia Inn during my visit with his wife. Since I had already paid, I could leave the place after I was waiting for about ten minutes after I had finished my meal. Crockery and cutlery had not been removed until this time. In summary, I have to say that my visit has definitely been rewarded and I will come back with certainty-limiting probability. And the price performance ratio is of course overwhelming. I also feel that the prices of the other food are extremely favourable. In my opinion, it would be good if the Asia Inn had opened for more than 8:00 on Friday and Saturday. Because the Asian fast restaurant would be heavily frequented by the Coburger Partyvolk before or during the nightlife. Otherwise, in the Steinweg on the later evening only the passage to the Dönerbude remains."

"During a city stroll on a Saturday afternoon, my friend and I felt hungry because we hadn't eaten at lunch. I had a desire for curry sausage and I spontaneously fell in the special bar, because I had eaten a curry sausage for years ago. In addition, at that time, two friends of mine stayed in the bar. In the evening, I was already the more opener for drinking beer in the special bar (in my opinion one of the better Coburger Weggeh Locations , but mostly quite full, but never before at noon. On weekends, there are frequent musicians or other artists. At about 13:00 we entered the place. Location/Ambience and Cleanliness The special bar is located in the pedestrian area of Coburg, but not too far from a bus stop and from a public car park. The bar is located on a side street of the notorious stone path, not far from the theater(place). A big glass front, over it a sign with the name of the local ranks. In summer, three or four tables are on the door. Inside first an elongated room with small tables on the side, at whose end the vault is located, then, two or three steps down the stairs, a square space there we took place with larger tables and a kicker. There is also a staircase down to the toilets. The facility is cozy, although a little bit sat down, and mainly held in red tones. The whole thing looks almost oriental to me. You might think, at least in the back room, you're in a Shisa Cafe. On the walls there are collapsing images, but they somehow harmonize with each other at the second glance. Cleanliness is quite right for a bar, we did not pick up the toilets. Chapel four stars for location/ambient and also close four stars for cleanliness. Service The service was satisfactory, but no more. The male, about 35 years old service quickly brought us the menu and picked up our beverage order. I asked about the beer of the month (in addition to standard beer, there is a beer of a Franconian brewery changing every month and then ordered it. It was a white-oher bell light, which I had only drank a few weeks before and was good. The beer was taken in the bottle (0.5l, was appropriately cool and cost 2.80 euros. My friend had nothing to do with her cappuccino for 2.40 euros. The food was also brought quickly, after which the service was no longer able to look. When we wanted to pay, a few minutes passed until the service came past our table. Three stars for service. The menu includes various smaller dishes such as curry sausage, burgers, salads, baguettes and toasts. Vegetarian dishes can be enjoyed on the map. The food I ordered a curry sausage with pommes for 6,50 euros, my friend a salad with turkey breast for 7,80 euros. The food came after about 20 minutes and was hot. Both the salad and the curry sausage with pommes were nicely dressed. The curry sausage was of medium size and taste very good. It was a soft sausage, i.e. rather a sausage, and no, as in Oberfranken usually, sausage. The portion of Pommes was huge and the Pommes were among the best I've ever eaten. Thin, outside crispy and in juicy tender. The sauce was, I think, made itself (my compliment for it and tasted very tomato and hardly after curry. Was also very tasty. My friend was also positively impressed by her salad, which was handed with three slices of baguette. The portion size was neat and the poultry I also cost was plentiful and nicely fried. Good four stars for dinner. Price performance ratio and conclusion I feel the prices for Coburger ratios as minimally too expensive, but the quality of the food and the fresh beer of the month make this up again. I think four and a half stars are justified for the price performance ratio. The special bar is a cozy bar where you can not only enjoy the alcohol in the evening, but also eat very tasty. I recommend the special bar both for drinking and for eating a little bite in between. 4 – gladly again (I can’t decide between 4 and 5, but first leave it at 4 (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it turns out again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to kitchen"
