"For once I am happy not have checked TA before heading there because we had a super experience for 2 days in a row, would have been a pity to miss it. First lunch inside in this very charming chalet setting, staff made of a pleasant young crew who's using tablets to optimize service lead time and it worked very well for us. 2nd day on their terrace, highly requested given the sunshine so good we were there early (booking highly recommended as we learnt). Yes it was tough with no booking but we could constantly witness that the staff was doing its utmost to accomodate as many clients as possible. Overall it took us 1h & 1h15 for a 2-course meal+coffee which is good for a crowded place. The choice is not super large but well positioned with several typical mountain dishes. Daily specials are a good deal (16,80 euro), the "farcement (Savoy specialty) with sausage" was ok whilst the "lamb with veg gratin" was great on the following day. Pasta carbonara is well executed, lasagna is ok and the kids loved the large omelet + side salad. Once seen on their board inside or on your neighbours' table, cakes are just irresistible (go for the Tatin or the redberries tarts!). We'll come back at next opportunity provided prices don't take the lift. Keen to taste their homemade soup, their croziflette with salmon and the lemon tart ;) Thank you to all."
