We walked up here from our hotel at La Cry, but luckily we'd made a reservation as it was packed even on a Monday night. We had really good food and the service was very friendly. Would certainly go back.

just spent half term on the slopes and esf snowboard instructor reccomended this place. We ate there twice, taking advantage of the fine weather to eat outside on the large terrace.The food was first class, really delicious and the staff were super friendly and spoke good English too !We come to Combloux often and know all the restaurants nearby. We visited four times over a three week period. The service was fine but when a mistake was made with an order the server was accusing and a slightly aggressive which was disappointing. Lunch was stunningly good on each occasion and the location is perfect for skiers, walkers and drivers so much to recommend it. Food and presentation are top notch.

Visited during Februry half term week, the restaurant was on the piste but also had a car park for road access. Lots of locals.The view from the outside seating area was fabulous.The food was a good quality, soup de jour was amazing, I think it was butternut squash. My husbands had steak, served beautifully and perfectly cooked. The childs bolognese was a very large portion tasty but too much for a ten year old.Quite pricey but good service, great views and quality food.

They take reservations and they cater to your seating preferences; which is important when you consider the breathtaking vista.The service is always friendly and accurate.The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonnable.We always try to take our guests there for a meal during their visit and we are disappointed when they are closed for their seasonal vacations. We wanted to go to a restaurant on the slopes but meet a friend who was a non skier. This restaurant is right beside the top car park in Combloux and on a blue piste so easily accessible by all. There food was good and the menu offered a good range. There is a lovely conservatory area but that is reserved for the clients of the hotel. It was not a hot day so we were inside. The atmosphere was lively and friendly and the decor was very traditional chalet with some nice features. We did book earlier in the day and there were people waiting to sit all the time we were there. I would highly recommend.

We had already called into this restaurant for a coffee break on one of our walks. We chose it as the restaurant where we wanted to take the last meal of our holiday in Haute Savoie (French Alps). The table I had asked for on the terrace was reserved for us and we had a magical evening. The fondue of fillet steak washed down with local Gamay made for an unforgettable meal but the event of the evening was the view of Mont Blanc bathed in the red sheen of the setting sun. This is a must for any visitor to Combloux. The only contrary comment was that other diners saw fit to smoke at their tables without the restaurant providing a smoking area. We were so lucky to have lunch there on their last day of the season. The service was rather slow as it was packed with visitors, but we did not mind it at all as the view of nearly 300 degree of mountains including Mont Blanc from their terrance was beyond words, especially with a long spell of nice afternoon spring sunshine, what can you complain!We had lamb, fish and wok dishes - all presented beautifully and including my son, everyone finished it all without leaving anything. I had the wok dish which was a light touch curry dish with coconut milk.
