"The Goldener Anker came recommended by numerous business associates in the area, and overall, this was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. However, the town in which the Goldener Anker is located is hardly attractive, nor is the actual site of the restaurant, but once inside the décor is warm and well-designed, the staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, and we quickly felt at ease welcoming our 1st dishes. One of the guidelines we use to evaluate how good a given restaurant is how long afterwards we are still able to remember specific dishes or drinks due to their exceptional taste(s), textures and presentation. It 's a bit disappointing, that the only thing that really stuck with us is the great taste of one of their cocktails called Inge . While all dishes were well put together and prepared, the strong sense we both came away with is that this cook and his team play it very safe. There was a lot of good , but really nothing exceptional , and we do expect that at this level of culinary skill. There are numerous other Michelin-starred and non-Michelin-starred competitors in the region that are simply more daring and able to excite our senses more. The bill came to just under 200€ for 2, and that included wines. In light of the overall experience this was a fair value for money, but as with many other such experiences we would rather pay more to also get more of a wow experience."

"The restaurant is really very nice and the atmosphere is great. It is very openly designed and how to expect it will be kindly received. The staff is not stiff, but very open-minded, which is very good to me. The wine tasting is not necessarily recommended because the wines of Rosin are not bad, but there are also better wines. The food is brilliant and the ideas are very creative. Especially the table chocolate from the duck liver is absolutely recommended. You should definitely take the 5 gear menu because you get the full taste experience. As in many applications, the boss has never been there and one is told he was there and one would have missed him. I find that a pity because you also know from other TV chefs that they are present in their own restaurant. I was actually about the food and not about the cook, so it wasn't a problem for me. The hotel situation is somewhat difficult. There is if you follow the road one that you can take, but that is not ideal. Nevertheless, I find it nice that Rosin decided to keep his restaurant there. I can only recommend it, especially when it comes to food and not to Rosins. The restaurant is really nice and the atmosphere is great. It is very open plan and as you would expect, you will be greeted warmly. The staff is by no means stiff, but very open-minded, which I like very much. The wine accompaniment is not necessarily recommended, because the wines from Rosin are not bad, but there are better ones. The food is awesome and the ideas are very creative. The duck liver chocolate bar in particular is highly recommended. You should definitely take the 5-course menu, because it gives you the full taste experience.
