"my partner and I were recently in the johnbarleycorn in duxford and we were strapped by the place. we would not have had a warmer greeting from nick after we spent 5 hours on the road! the room was cozy and warm, clean with generous tea and coffee accessories. the bathroom was small, but we had everything we needed, including much soft white bathroom towels. I hadn't felt like I had eaten a lot in the evening, but I couldn't resist a delicious salad with hot smoked salmon flakes, warm kartoffels and a perfectly picked egg above. then followed a delicious cheesecake and coffee. the breakfast next morning was generous with a lot of hot toast, tee and coffee. we stay in the next year definitiw again!"
