"Stayed three nights at the Waldeck hotel where the restaurant is located and had dinner all three nights. Absolutely a shame to go anywhere else! Florian is the most dedicated and skilled chef, using creativity, local touch, various themes according to season and top quality ingredients throughout every dish. Fabulous St Jaques carpaccio, delicious lamb that came as chops, carré, curry to mention some (Easter theme), delicious desserts, and above all: German sized portions! The wine selection focused mainly on German varietals. The restaurant could have benefitted from a wider selection from for example neighbouring Alsace and Bourgogne.Very friendly staff who worked hard to make us feel at home while enjoying the delicacies.
