"I'm going to this restaurant for about 9 years now and it is still a great pleasure to come back everytime I'm around Frejus. The location is great. You can eat outside enjoying the sunset on the tiny harbor of Frejus, while sitting in a classy and relaxed atmosphere. Then comes the food. I became vegetarian a long time ago and I know that they serve there really good home made pastas. If you are lucky enough the see the ones with the creamy sauce with cepes or morilles, go for it; If you like mushrooms, you'll be pleased. Although they serve fresh fish, their speciality, the rest worth a try. Regarding the desserts, the pastry chef will give to your senses a nice travel of sweetness and lightness, depending on your choice. They can also prepare something special on demand that will never disappoint you : for the 30th birthday of my best friend, we made him a surprise and organised a dinner there. We ordered a home made Paris-Brest which was absolutly amazing. They knew my friend was a guitar player and took the initiative to give that cake a guitar shape... What else to add ? The service indeed! You will be welcome with a honest smile and the employees of Le Cesar will always make you feel special for them, which is what we are looking for, right ?!In terms of prices, you can go for it without thinking about your wallet. Le Cesar offers you the service and quality of a Michelin Star rated restaurant for reasonnable prices.Defenetly a place to visit for all food and gastronomy lovers, who like to enjoy the french kitchen and share good moments."

"I was ordering a menu (starter, main plate, dessert.) Starter (salmon risotto) was ok, nothing bad to say, but nothing good either. For the main plate I needed to wait a lot and the restaurant was not even full and we are out of the season. When my main plate finally came (beef with mashed potatoes,) the beef wasn't well done as I had requested. It was burned around and completely raw in the middle. I needed to let my boyfriend finish it. There was no point to give it back to them as it was already burned around. For dessert, we needed to wait a long time before someone came to take our plates and asked if we needed the menu. We asked the menu which was never given to us, as they forgot us. Finally the same guy came and asked if we want the menus, when we told that we have decided already. The guy couldn't understand well English, so my boyfriend needed to re-say everything in French. Finally the dessert (lava cake) came and that I cannot complain, it was good, but it took 20 minutes after we finished the dessert before the server notified us as we were waiving the hand in order to get the bill. When we finally got the bill, we needed to wait super long time again before they actually came to take the payment and the bill was wrong. They tried to charge my menu choices separately and not as one menu. It took us almost 3 hours on the restaurant and everyone else who had came at the same time than us had left a long time ago."
