"Ion walking through the door, directly on entering there was an unattended rucksack. My wife took a seat at the far end of pub, table 21, which is approximately 20 foot from the end of the bar. I informed a member of the bar staff about the concerning rucksack and was asked to go and kick it out of the way for me . I informed him that was not the done thing wit a suspicious package. I placed my order via the app and observed the same member of staff pour the drinks. They were then moved by another staff member to the end of the, 20 feet from my table, which is where they stayed. The staff members stood around as the bar was quite for a while. The second staff member then walked past the drinks to open a toilet door for a customer, returning to the bar past my drinks. He stood around for a few minutes and then left the bar and delivered my drinks This was my first, and my last visit to this pub. I will stick to Lytham where the service is far better."

"Popped in here for a coffee after a long walk, only 1 table left, which seated 4 people, there was 2 of us, halfway through drinking our coffee, the older lady, which I think was the owner, came to us and asked how long we were going to be, as there was a family of four waiting for the table and as there was only 2, asked us to give the table up, very rude and un professional, I would not return, I left a quarter of my coffee as she kept returning to the table and I felt forced to leave, and then she charged us full price."

"Absolutely fantastic establishment! Booked in here for an impromptu evening meal. We were not disappointed. Fantastic service throughout, extremely polite and friendly staff. It’s not often you fall upon one of these hidden gems. we all know the price of food is astronomical across the board so when we decide to eat out, we expect to pay more. We just hope that what we are paying for is something a little bit “extra”. The food at the eagle is beyond reproach. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used and twin that with the excellence of the chef and you have the perfect meal out. Easy to find, fantastic parking, immaculate restrooms and beautiful well thought out interior. I honestly cannot fault this place and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening."

"If you are thinking of eating here Don't . Definately the worst bar meal we have ever had, the soup was tasteless and watery. The accompanying roll was warm but brick hard. Chips were disgusting and overcooked. Fish definitely frozen and overcooked with inedible batter. The salad was warm, as our meals were possibly being being kept warm, while we were still eating our starters and the waitress tried to serve them. Possibly as the cook was due to finish his shift. Unfortunately the member of staff didn't want to know or acknowledge our complaints, never mind discounting our bill, but we were offered an ice-cream."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and just what you would expect from a BIR (British Indian Restaurant). The quality of the meat can be inconsistent, ranging from good to lower quality. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is somewhat bland, and I have noticed that the portion sizes are significantly smaller when dining in compared to having food delivered. Because of this, I would recommend opting for delivery instead of dining in. The service at the restaurant is good, but the delivery drivers always seem unhappy."

"Not used this takeaway for a long time. We ordered 4 meals and it wasn't great. The prawn dish only had 5 prawns and was swimming in sauce. The fried rice was overcooked and the chilli beef was tasteless."

"We took a nice day out to Lytham on the first May Bank Holiday and had a pleasant stroll along the front. We stopped here for a bite to eat and a drink before heading off back home. The weather forecast was sunny all day which it was and therefore the owners of this establishment should have had enough staff laid on to accommodate it's clientele. Unfortunately that was not the case with two young ladies rushed off their feet trying to serve everyone and a young lad at the ice cream parlour. The queue when we got there was around 20 people long and it took 20 minutes to get served, and after getting served the queue was still 20 people long behind me. The way in which they operate does not give the poor ladies a chance to cope. They take your order which they give to the kitchen but then start to make your drinks. Therefore no one is being served whilst they do this! There should of been an extra member of staff they gave the drinks order to who then did this whilst the ladies carried on serving...this would have been much more efficient. The prices here are very expensive for what it is, after all it's only a cafe and their prices matched that of a pub restaurant. The food was served quite quickly and was piping hot and very good quality. My grilled chicken burger with chips at £10.95 was an average price, but my partner's fish finger butty at £8.25 was expensive given it didn't come with anything else either. The drinks are even more expensive as paying £7.30 for two hot drinks is not good value at all. Overall it was a decent experience with the waiting time and prices not dampening our day. However, the service needs to improve, the prices need reducing on some dishes and drinks and the tables need to be cleared much quicker as the birds can been seen swooping down on the food left by customers who have left. One final point. There are signs not to feed the birds but can I also say that additional signs of owners not being allowed to let their dogs sit on the seating or tables where people have to eat. Unfortunately we witnessed this which is unacceptable mainly by the dog owners rather than the cafe owners. By the way, we are also a dog owner so it's nothing against them!"

"I ordered a bacon barm (sandwich to people outside of Lancashire) with the bacon extra crispy, for my son. At £6, it’s about on par for the location. What turned up was the cheapest barm I’ve seen outside of a greasy spoon cafe, and the bacon was so raw that it walked itself to the table and oinked. More fat than bacon. They even had the audacity to present this abomination on an open platter ie two halves of the barm with the slimy porcine offerings slapped on top. There is no one anywhere on God’s green earth that wants to be served raw bacon. Surely it must be taught in catering colleges how to properly cook bacon. Even vegetarians start to get a bit moist around their loins at the prospect of getting even the slightest sniff of a bacon barm. I beseech the owner of this woeful establishment to invest in a proper chef. Myself, I had an omelette that they managed to burn. £22 for the food and two cokes. If you’re in Lytham, I’d recommend The Estuary a couple of doors down. Much better quality and cheaper."

"Best kebabs on the Fylde Coast! Rushed off their feet on a Saturday night 'cause they 're popular. Still managed to be friendly, bit of a wait, bit pricey was my first impression but my God it was worth it! My friend says the chicken burger was excellent. Garlic bread with cheese was too, and chicken wings, basically everything we had was just so fresh and delicious and awesome. Will definitely be back."

"I have been to the cafe here a few times now, both before and after social distance measures. The really great thing about having a tea break here is that it is perfectly possible to do this in a safe socially distanced way. The cafe has a delightful courtyard with tables under cover, whilst also being outside. It is sheltered, too.The crockery is attractive vintage, which is in keeping with the character of the place. Food is ok and thee cafe has done the half price eat in Covid offer. Vegan cakes and biscuits are scarce. Despite them claiming to have a vegan option, I have never encountered one. The only savoury option is a sausage sandwich which is a poor offering. Come on Lytham Hall get with the programme. Buy a Bosh book and make an effort!Value for money? It would be better if a pot of tea for two was slightly less than a pot of tea for one x 2. However, the new car parking costs pump up the overall spend at the Hall, so you might be better off at Costa down the road. Don't rely on Lytham Hall having free disabled spaces either, there is only room for 4 or so cars and they are all filled now the carpark charges."

"Just got back from an amazing meal here four of us 9 ,15 and mum dad the children’s meals are a fantastic value meal pudding and drink for under £5 good portion size the flat bread garlic bread started was amazing £4 and the mains didn’t look much on the plate (portion wise) however the taste of the burgers was amazing and the large potatoe wedges were very filling, service was amazing we asked for water for the children and were given a large iced jug perfect all in all we would recommend we went around 7 which was perfect as our children are a little older now so we don’t need the happy hour 4 till five at weather spoons over the road very classes inside and very clean hope to try the tapas next time with friend a class"

"Been going here for ultimate food for about 25 years off and on but not anymore and am warning other customers to reconsider their loyalties. We ordered a takeaway for delivery and after being put on hold a couple of times were finally told of about a 30 to 45 minute wait. NO Problem. I was now able to plan my next half hour around the delivery. I called after a half hour over due only for the phone to ring out without being answered time and time again. We gave up on the heated plates in the oven and turned it off after an hour overdue. Not knowing whether the food was or was not coming because Ahmets wasn't answering our calls nor phoning us to keep us to date meant we that we were left hanging. Even if the food did arrive fully 1 hour and 15 minutes overdue, what guarantee was there it would be fresh, hot and not have travelled within the 3 mile radius for the last 75 minutes? We would not have enjoyed the food by this stage because of the way this outlet had treated us. We decided to rescue what we could of our night and went out in search of a meal. We judged all take away delivery plans by these standards and so, completely against what we had planned found ourselves going out to eat. Would you believe it BUT a minor miracle happened when the delivery guy phoned us 1 hour 32 mins late to say the food was here but he can't get an answer. We only kept you on repeat dial and managed 24 unanswered calls but turns out you can call your customer when it suits. Needless to say, delivery guy when told what had happened as in ordered told 45 mins gave up after 1.hour 20 and 24 calls later and sought food elsewhere, could not even manage a sorry.Thank you so much Ahmets for ruining our special evening. Just be honest instead of being greedy.. Better to have an ok kebab that comes on time than a fantastic one that doesn't and there are plenty of those about our small town LSA.Never again."

"Can 't fault the service which is good... and can sit outside (maybe not in Winter though.. it 's a sea-bit-chilly). A cheerful-café and the only one round that area which aren 't stuck-up like the others are. Worried the prices are a bit high as competion round there offers now in some cases better value (think they need a pricing re-think) There are better value round the 'Square ' for more grub in some cases (hence 3 stars). They don 't do puddings which is a shame... some of the cakes are tacky run-of-the-mill expensive crap, but think some are homemade too which are much better. You can 't charge restaurant prices in a café (not when there is one just up the road... and a carvery nearby). It 's a possible recipe for disaster. Pets are allowed too, so I can take my dog in without tying her up outside... so long as there is space in the pet area which is brill '. . Would I go again ?... yes."
