"Pizzeria Milano ist kein Restaurant, sondern ein Pizza-Lieferdienst. Das können sie aber sehr gut. Die Pizzen sind immer sehr lecker für eine Person auf jeden Fall groß genug und die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und so habe ich auch mal einige Salate und auch das indische Essen probiert. Auch hier kann ich die Menge nur loben - ich bin mehr als satt geworden. Die Salate schmecken sehr lecker, Gemüse und Dressing kommen natürlich getrennt, so muss es sein. Das indische Essen war reichlich und sah sehr lecker aus. Geschmacklich hat der Ingwer ziemlich dominiert und das war nicht mein Ding. Aber ich kenne mich da nicht aus, vielleicht war es auch meine Blödheit, weil ich einfach das falsche Essen bestellt habe..."

"Ich ging an einem Samstag gemeinsam mit meiner Frau über den Gießener Markt, und bemerkte an der Pizzeria Roma ein Angebot, das mich ansprach. Sinngemäß: Alle Pizzen, die abgeholt werden 5 Euro. Da es Mittagszeit war, gingen wir rein, und ich bestellte eine Pizza Toscana. Ich fragte den Pizzabäcker, ob er nur die Hälfte der Pizza als Toscana machen könnte, und die andere mit Tomatensauce und Käse. Ja, das wäre möglich sagte der Mann. Da meine Frau keine Pilze ißt, freuten wir uns sehr. Wenig später kam eine andere Angestellte dazu, redete mit dem Pizzabäcker und plötzlich hiess es: Nein, es geht nicht. Sonst müsse der teurere Preis bezahlt werden. Meine Frau und ich, wir sahen uns an, und zuckten mit den Schultern, und eigentlich hatte ich an dieser Stelle schon Lust zu gehen. Ich bestellte dann doch die "Toscana", weil ich Hunger hatte, und meine Frau besorgte sich auf dem Markt ein Stück Kuchen. Der Pizzabäcker überreichte mir den Karton, er und die Angestellte wünschten mir einen guten Appetit, dann verließen meine Frau und ich das Restaurant. Ich öffnete den Karton und begann zu essen. Die Restauranttür ging auf und die Angestellte kam raus und sagte. Hier dürfe ich nicht essen. Es fiel uns schwer, zu fassen, was wir da grade erlebt hatten. Die Pizza war gut. Der Bäcker hatte sich Mühe gegeben. Aber die mangelhafte Gastfreundschaft, die wir erlebt hatten, beschäftigte uns noch sehr lange. Das war für uns das erste und das letzte Mal, dass wir in der Pizzeria Roma waren."

"Holte mir das täglich wechselnde Mittagsangebot. War selbst für mich als nicht Veganer/Vegetarier echt lecker und für 6,50€ definitiv Preiswert. Konnte mir am Buffet eine Riesenportion daufschaufeln. Vor allem die Saucen waren lecker. Als ich am Abend dann nochmal mit meinem Freund im Rollstuhl "vorbei fuhr", bekam ich Heißhunger auf Joghurt mit Erdbeeren. Ich ging rein und wollte beide Zutaten kaufen, da meinte der junge Mann der dort arbeitete, wenn ich wollte könnte ich mir selbst etwas in der Laden-Küche kredenzen. Er stellte mir Biovanille, Agavendicksaft und hauseigenes Granola zur Verfügung, die er mir nicht berechnete. Mit meinem Freund im Gepäck stand ich, obwohl der Laden eigentlich schon längst hätte schließen sollen, nun in der Küche und konnte mein eigenes Essen zubereiten. Werde definitiv wieder kommen, hat echt Spaß gemacht!"

"We have visited a very good friend in Linden and we have encountered this small but very good restaurant. Not only the kitchen is exceptionally delicious, but also the owner(Manu and the staff are very friendly and fulfill almost any desire. Manu keeps his guests in the mood and cannot take a short conversation at one or the other table, thus creating a special feel-good atmosphere. The restaurant is wonderfully located in the city centre of Gießen, so it is perfect to reach by car, bus and train. Therefore, once again we are in water and hungry: is our first point of contact Trattoria Manu. Thanks for the great hospitality"

"We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel concierge and informed that it was one of the oldest buildings in Gießen.The restaurant is located deep within the pedestrianised shopping centre and was in easy walking distance to our hotel on Westanlage.We ordered a range of starters; the tomato with the mozzarella was sweet and flavoursome and the bruschetta was also very good. I ordered a large steak with pepper sauce and the knife glided through the meat. I would have preferred the pepper sauce to be on the side and not poured over the steak but this is a minor point. Everyone else around the table appeared to enjoy their main courses too with dishes ranging from calf liver, calamari and pizza.Desserts were standard fare, i.e. ice cream, cheese board etc and they even had English language menus for those of us that spoke no German or Italian."

"Two salad shops could keep in the water after the big hype, their concept could not be different. Where there are finished salads with names at Tom Sallys, you can choose from estimated 30 ingredients and create your individual salad (yes, there are also exceptions, but later). The base is therefore either noodles (white or whole grain), fresh green salad or a combination thereof (my favorite), four so-called basic ingredients, a dressing according to choice and a small semmel (full grain or ciabatta). If you want more, you can book additional ingredients such as freshly fried chicken for an additional fee. The whole is large (with two mammals) and small and I find the value for money very good. The clear advantages and disadvantages of this concept are individuality. I get the salad I want, but I need to remember what I like. There are also lunches on the Neuenweg. I admire the operators with what rest and speed they do the preparation, but it costs time. If you want to edit this, you have the option of an online preparation order (which I have never used before). What I like is the changing warm soups that round off the offer, I usually take a small salad and a soup and then I'm good at lunch, but not too much saturated. Building style you feel very comfortable in the small salädchen, everything is made with bright wood, in front of the large shop window there is a long corner bench with pillows inside and many people take the food on site. In front of the shop window outside, in good weather there are also places in the sun and overlooking the Sparkasse... Even if you come more often, it will not be boring to change soups, new, partly seasonal dressings and ingredients of the month like asparagus. In addition to every individuality, there are also finished salads that carry funny names and also change. Do not come into question for me, but should be mentioned. There are all drinks that you just want to drink from Fritz-Cola via Club-Mate. Only the coffee I can not recommend: by putting yourself back in the snake, nobody will be ordered in preparation and the operators will be annoyed. You can also preorder for groups and then you don't have to adjust yourself, but that never came into question for me as a spontaneous eater."

"Wollten nach einem stressigen Tag den Abend spontan mit einem Restaurantbesuch ausklingen lassen ... ohne Reservierung in Gießen an einem Samstag scheinbar nicht möglich!?Auf dem Heimweg kamen wir dann am Akropolis vorbei und da wir immer das Gutscheinbuch in der Tasche haben, dachten wir es sei einen Versuch wert und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht!Freundlicher Empfang und Bedienung die immer nach dem Rechten sah und sich erkundigte ob alles in Ordnung ist ohne zu nerven. Das Essen dauerte leider etwas (etwa 45 min) aber dank des wirklich guten Weins war das kein Problem. Die Portionen preislich angemessen, wobei das Rumpsteak eine gute Größe hatte, wie gemalt war und auf den Punkt! Auch ansonsten keine Beanstandungen. Es gab sogar den Absacker-Ouzo ;-)Das Gutscheinbuch wurde anstandslos akzeptiert, ohne dass der Service nachließ - insofern doch noch ein schöner Abend.Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Karten lamentiert, aber das Ambiente war in diesem Fall nebensächlich.Wer darauf Wert legt und vor dem Theater noch schnell was essen will, ist hier fehl am Platz. Für alle Anderen absolut zu empfehlen."

"After we had ordered to eat more often in the Olympus, we wanted to eat with the Schlemmerblock in the restaurant. The meat tasty and well seasoned, the pommes not soy despite delivery, the Zaziki even delicious. Only the herbal salad is unfortunately the same as most delivery services 0815. Restaurant: The restaurant is simply chic. If you sit on the large glass facade, you can even follow one or other tennis games. However, the tennis operation may cause the parking spaces not available to be occupied. After we had taken place, we could place our order very quickly during the beautiful and attentive operation. There were no long waiting times, drinks and food were served quickly (about 20 minutes). The dishes as usual delicious, but unfortunately of the amount no comparison to the amount of deliveries. Did you notice that the voucher was submitted before the order? Unfortunately, the book ultimately saves nothing because the dishes in the restaurant are somewhat more expensive than when ordering, but less of the amount. "Ich kann leider einige negative Bewertungen bestätige. Es zieht ständig. Liegt aber vermutlich am Platz. In der nähe der Theke kann man zumindest nicht sitzen. Die Crusheismaschine wummert so laut das man sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr hört. Das geht gar nicht!!! Hier sollten wenigstens mal Puffer unter das Gerät gebaut werden. Vorspeisenplatte für 4 ist OK. Aber die Salsa Soße dabei völlig geschmacklos und eisekalt. Passt nicht dazu. Man sollte Zeit mitbringen... Es dauert alles extrem lange. Am alten Standort war das besser. Die Einrichtung hätte man mal tauschen sollen. Stühle total unbequem und wackelig. Die Fahnen total abgegriffen und siffig. Lärmpegel und Hektik steigt mit der Anzahl der Gäste massiv an. Bedienung trotzdem freundlich und nett. Essen super warm und auch recht gut. Hätte aber etwas mehr würze vertragen. Alles recht neutral. Schärfe wird völlig vermisst. Die Salsa ist überflüssig und einfach nur irgendeine wässrige pampe. Da ist was fertiges aus dem Glas besser. Toiletten sehr eng, und auch nicht sonderlich sauber. Ein Gericht wurde extra ohne Salsa statt dessen mit saurer Sahne bestellt. Wurde nicht umgesetzt. Nachtisch haben wir ausgelassen weil es einfach viel zu spät wurde. Dieses Jahr leider nicht nochmal. Hatte mich eigentlich drauf gefreut..."

Es folgten 2 x THOM Khai Gai (Gemüsesuppe mit Hühnerfilet, Kokosmilch, Zitronengras,Champignons, Kaffirblättern und Koriander)Die Suppe war einfach geschmacksneutral!Ich weiß garnicht wie sowas machbar ist.Wir essen gerne Thai und waren kurz vorher bei einem Mitbewerber in der Frankfurter Straße von dieser Suppe wieder mal total begeistert.Der Service hat auch nett nachgefragt und uns eine andere Suppe angeboten, wir haben dankend verzichtet.Als Hauptgericht gab es GAENG DAENG GAI ( Knusprige Ente mit rotem Thai Curry)das Gericht war vom Aroma eher unterer Durchschnitt.Die Portionen waren reichlich, optisch ansprechend, aber die köstlichen Aromen der Thaiküche durften wir hier nicht erleben.Sicherlich nicht abzuraten für einen Snack in der Mittagspause, wer aber den Duft und das Aroma der Thaiküche liebt hat in Gießen noch andere Möglichkeiten.Feilt nochmal an euren Gerichten, dann kommen wir gerne wieder.Der Laden kam so rüber, als ob euch eure Kunden am Herzen liegen ."
